The Hungry Hiker Tobermory

Absolutely the best place for breakfast options and the food is amazing. Vegetarian options are available and their sandwiches are worth it. Very friendly people and prices are reasonable too.

We spent the weekend in Tobermory and this was by far the best breakfast we had. The cheddar and brisket sandwich was unreal, my family wouldn’t stop asking me for bites. The believer and the western were also great choices. The French vanilla iced coffee was so good, went down very fast. The grounds are also cute with games to play and lots of seating area. Highly recommend!

Stopped by on a trip to Tobermory. Huge fan of The Believer sandwich, you can really taste that everything was made fresh from the eggs to the fried bacon. The Sasquench lemonade was also crazy tasty and super tart!

We absolutely loved the hungry hiker and the ladies working here! We went each morning of our camping trip for breakfast! Best breakfast sandwiches and make sure to get the dilly tots with them! Great prices as well! The ladies were so friendly and nice! Only good things to say about this spot, wish we had more time to try everything else (really want some of those Mac and cheese bites!) will have to try them when we come back over the summer months! Definitely a spot to check out! They even have water for your dogs which is great!

My husband and I frequent Tobermory every year. We decided to stop here before the Grotto and we were very impressed with the food. One of the best breakfasts we’ve had throughout all of our times up here. Cozy and warm seating area. We will be back! Delicious!

The grilled cheddar and brisket sandwich was insanely good. Great prices and great food!

Beef brisket in sourdough is the BEST! The bread was crunchy and the briskets was juicy. We came here three times during our weekend at Tobermory because the sandwich was that good. Taters were great and I like the dill mayo that comes with it. 10/10

What a discovery while in Tobermory. This is a food truck with excellent food. The brisket on a bun was amazing. This is not haute cuisine by any means but both my wife and I were impressed by the food.

We got the believer and smoked brisket on a brioche bun and it was SO AMAZING. They have great attention to detail in the food, the prices are reasonable, and it has a cute ambiance. I LOOK FORWARD TO COMING HERE AGAIN NEXT TIME!

Amazing place. We celebrate my birthday there couple weeks ago and Linda and her family welcomed us so much. Petfriendly, my puppy Max loved their bacon and Linda’s mom. We saw a bear right next to us. It was for sure a super cool birthday! Ah food is delicious!

Absolutely loved the Grilled Cheddar with Brisket and the Sweaty Yeti!

Absolutely delightful food spot. If you're craving a sandwich or a snack this will scratch that itch. Try the Grilled Cheese and Brisket Sandwich if you want a warm sando, or the BLT for a crispy fresh bite.

A great place to takeout food before getting on the cruise to flowerpot island.
There can be a bit of line up during peak season so be sure to arrive early

This was an EXCELLENT place to hang out with kids. Nice space to play, and most importantly FANTASTIC breakfast for everyone! Egg bite for our toddler, and BLT for our big kid, plus great Western and fried chicken sandwich for parents. The coffee was excellent and so was the deep fried corn! Hell of a good breakfast and great company with the owners. Thank you!

Feel like this is low key the best spot for food in Tobermory. This is on the pricier end but so is literally everything else in this area. The briskets are some of the best I’ve had. Briskets are meant to be juicy and moist, and the Hungry Hiker completely delivered. Highly recommend either the grilled cheese on brioche bun or their grilled cheese with brisket.

The mosquitos here are hugeeee. Use bug spray cuz you’ve been warned!

I had the believer, grilled cheese and western sandwich. They were all very delicious.

Compare to another breakfast place western sandwich, I was very impressed by how good hungry hiker made it.

The size of the sandwich was satisfying. You can tell they put in the effort of making a tasty sandwich at a reasonable price.

I would highly recommend anyone going to Tobermory to give Hungry Hiker a visit.

Best place to eat in Tobermory for sure. Exceptional people and exceptional food. We can't wait to go back next time we are in Tobermory. Also this is one of the few places you can get breakfast at 7am in the area. Must go here.

A must try in your Tobermory visit! The portions are enormous and everything is very tasty. The staff are all so welcoming and kind! Even have a beautiful little outdoor dining area

Just what we needed on a wet chilly morning; good vibes, great eats, and wonderful people.

We stopped here on a rainy morning while camping in Bruce Peninsula park and it was everything I didn't know I needed.

Our party ordered tots, dilly tots, chai, and a breakfast sandwich with tots.

All of the food was absolutely delicious- I had the tots and the chai and the chai was brewed beautifully.

What really made the experience was the incredibly kind staff and the quirky atmosphere. The family games, the jokes tossed or way from staff, the sasquatch statues and the quaint covered eating area brought some joy to a terrible start.

I would absolutely stop here again the next time I visit bruce peninsula.

Picked up some breakfast here before leaving the park. Food was nice and fresh, sandwich was delicious, and the tots were fried perfectly crispy. It's right across from the visitor center entrance as well so very convenient. Highly recommended if you want a quick bite!
