My husband and I loved this place. We both got the whitefish and chips, and cheese sticks. The cheese sticks were generic but good. The fish is the winner here, it was excellent, very light, cooked perfectly, and they had all the condiments you would want. The chips could have been done a bit more but still good. Service was excellent and our server was lovely! Sorry I didn't catch her name, we went May 4th in the evening. They have all you can eat fish and chips, which at the time of me posting this is only worth it if you eat at least 3 pieces of fish. Our server said she believed the record was 22 pieces (although she normally works at the other location so I can't actually quote her on that!).

Ordered all you can eat fish and chips for about $24.95. Fish was Alaskan whitefish. Fried well, with a mild texture. Enjoyed it very much.

Fabulous white fish and haddock with chips. Went to Shipwreck Lees after reading great reviews. We were not disappointed and my husband said it was the best haddock he had ever had, the batter was thin and tasty. Highly recommend.

Love the light batter and moist fish! We ordered the whitefish and haddock. The shrimp tastes like it was mixed un like chicken or pork shake n bake so more flavor. There was a line up when we went for lunch though we got served fairly fast.

We had the haddock and chips, the quality was excellent! I love the fish here, it’s absolutely fresh, you can tell by the first bite, fried batter was so crispy! It’s always crowded here so every time I come here, I order take out and go to the bench near the harbour and eat there, enjoy the great view and summer weather at the same time!

I'm sure more visitors here are tourists, and what a great thing! This place is one of a few that will have me return to the Bruce area. We came up on a Memorial Day trip from the US and this place was a gem to stumble upon when looking for lunch. I originally pulled over as I saw "shwarma" on the sign, but I got fish and chips. The meal was incredible and did not disappoint at all as that is what they are known for!

Andrew was a solid dude who serviced my friends and me well. He was very hospitable, down to earth, and great to meet.

This place is a must visit. We too read all the reviews and ratings and that made us more curious to know why its so famous !!
We bought fish & chips and Jerk Chicken with chips. They were delicious. Chicken was so tasty and cooked to perfection. Don't underestimate the corn which you get along with Chicken on side. Wow! Those corns were just yumm. I can eat all day.
Plenty of seats and wonderful ambience. MUST VISIT place 👍🏻👏🏻😍

Probably my favourite place to eat here in Tobermory. Good food variety (I say this because most places in Toby only serve fish and chips, and at this point they kind of taste the same for me) and the food tastes good. Went here yesterday and tried the chicked and rib combo, and some fried pickles. Will definitely come back again next season.

A full experience. Went with my wife on a Saturday evening. The ambience fit the decor perfectly. Staff was easy going but also on top of it with their service. We were served by the Captain who not only shared a parlour trick at the end of our meal but also didn't mind what so ever when I asked a touristy question.

She had the Haddock and Shrimp combo, claimed it was amazing. I had the mozza sticks, chicken fingers and fries with gravy. My food was out of this world and lemme tell you, I'm something of a connoisseur when it comes to chicken fingers and gravy in particular.

Will definitely return.

Great fish and chips place. Batter was light and crunchy. Fish and shrimp was nice and moist on the inside. Love the pirate theme. Prices were pretty decent as well. Fries need some seasoning to make it perfect.

The food was great, the service was the greatest. They treated us like friends, came around with some cool tricks for the kids, made us feel like home and made sure we enjoyed everything to the max. Thank you guys, keep up the great spirit 🙌

Amazing Fish and chips. Visited last year.

Went after peak dinner time. With two servers, they managed pretty well. We had to wait for a bit which was fine. They were flexible with table seating choices so we got to eat w their mascot!

We had the AYCE alaskan freshwater fish and chips.
The batter, despite being not too thick yet still had that satisfying crunch.
The fish, melts in your mouth in a couple of bites!
We got two different types of packaged tartar sauce. Both were enough to accompany the fish.
The chips, were ok.

We were given a refill of just the fish and no extra chips. What im trying to say is that they weren't trying to fill us up with thick batter and chips, instead, we got more fish!

I've been eating Fish and chips at the popular franchise starting with "H" and as far as I know, they don't serve Alaskan whitefish. It was a refreshing experience.

This is the best fish and chips restaurant we have been to. There is all you can eat fish and chips for at least $20. And you can eat a lot of the fish. The fish is fresh and no fishy taste you find in some restaurants (probably frozen fish).

The service was good and they were always around asking if we needed more fish or chips. It wasn't a long wait for the next batch.

After visiting the Ferry Docks location we headed to this one. Standing in the line outside is worth the wait. Amazing vibes. Staff is very friendly. We entered by 8:30 and gave our orders by 8:40 though the store was closing by 9 pm. Staff made sure we got our order in time and never rushed us to finish our food. Thank you for that. This is a place to definitely visit when in Tobermory. Excellent customer service. I recommend this place for anyone who loves fish & chips.

Ok so considering what happened you may wonder......why did this guy give this restaurant a 5/5. Simply because in the end, they made it right.
I came here with my wife and told the server "it's just the two of us", and he replied "we can make it if we try". Very funny....get it....the song 🎵 , we sit down and I order the fish and my wife orders chicken and ribs.
When my fish came out it was undercooked. I tried my best to eat it but after 3 bites the texture was freaking me out.
Now I have a thing with restaurant's, I never, ever, ever send food back to the kitchen to be served to me again. I'm not saying this kitchen does things to send backs, but I worked in a kitchen that did.
The waitress offered me different platters for the same price, free drinks, however I just wanted to pay for my mistake and leave.
So when I asked for the bill she brought it and it came to $0.00, I tipped her for her excellent service, 30% and left happy with the whole experience.
