Riverhouse tavern

Never have been in a dive bar before but we were pleasantly surprised. Top atmosphere if you like quirky places with a character. Good drinks and local beer selection. They don't have a fryer so expect the food to be wholesome and not the general fried stuff. Taco Tuesdays well recommended.

Intimate bar with a great selection of drinks and a solid menu.

The place is on the small side but some seating at the bar was enough for me and my friend to squeeze in there. Lots of beers, mixed drinks, and some local possibly house beer options.

The menu is quite good with the specialty being the wood fire pizzas which we just didn’t happen to be in the mood for but they looked delicious. We had a couple bacon burgers and they were superb! Nice size portion and fresh ingredients.

There’s also a pretty good sized patio and lots of parking. They had a fire going which was nice for the folks hanging outside.

Don't know why we walked past this place in favor of a brewery... great vibes, great food, great drinks. I wish I'd gotten the name of our server - what a champion!!! If you're vegan like us, don't be put off, so accommodating!! Hope to come back here again. Thanks guys - keep up the good vibes!

Did not have the highest expectations coming in but we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food and the attentiveness of the staff. Definitely get the pizza its very good.
Seating a bit limited so might be tough on a busy night.

Dropped in after a long day, it was close to the Hotel we decided that based on a few of the reviews that it would be worth a shot. WOW I had the Riv Burger, the Wife had Beef deep. We both were beyond impressed with the meal. Dustin was busting it out at the Bar and was friendly, efficient and made notice that we were visiting and took a little extra care. It was busy and that kind of attention detail goes a long way especially during times when service can be the first to go. Well done Boys we will be back again on the next trip through. Here's us already smashing half the meal before realizing these guys deserve a 5 star!

Stopped here for lunch on a roadtrip and was super happy we did! The server was so friendly and was easily some of the best pizza we have ever had!

This place is the bomb best pizza in Golden!! Ask for the hot sauce

Small joint with an amazing patio and awesome staff! The food was great and the music was rocking! If yer into drinks, a Shaft is a must!

Great atmosphere, pool table and fire pit. Cheap drinks great laughs and good pizza. Perfect party or chill vibe.

Met the owner in the gondola at Kicking Horse and she was awesome! The draft beer was tasty and the patio was very relaxing (great views)!

Love it here. The interior decor isn’t exactly kid friendly but I wouldn’t expect it to be at a bar. Outside has gorgeous views of the river and pedestrian bridge. Food somehow tastes even better than it looks.

Great service, this bar reflect the wilderness of Kicking horse. A bit trash but very cool! Go ahead and ask for their special drink: a shaft..!
