I literally cannot say enough good things about this place. Stumbled on it by chance and have came back weekly since. I even bring my friends when they visit from out of town. AMAZING prices and everything is super fresh and seems homemade. The jam is to die for. I’ve yet to try their lunch but it sounds super yummy. The workers are very kind and the place is super clean. Parking is free and very accessible. My only note is that you cannot bring your to go coffee to shop around the attached Goodwill. Seriously the only restaurant I frequent now. Love this place!!

Cozy, minimal and absolutely gorgeous, with wallet friendly menu options and the friendliest staff. Love the community coffee program they run, where you can anonymously buy a coffee for someone.

A great local cafe that gives back to the London community! Fantastic all-day breakfast options, and lots of yummy pastries too. I had the breakfast wrap with home fries which was really good - eggs were cooked perfectly - and my partner had the eggs benny which was also a hit! Would recommend for a local spot that is just outside the downtown core, and you can even buy a "community coffee" and pay it forward for someone else. :)

Wow to those reviewers who criticize this cafe for its unhoused partronage. Those folks are HUMAN BEINGS who are there for a coffee like everyone else, and mind their own business. If you feel uncomfortable, time to self-reflect or stay home in your sheltered bubble.

Kudos to the work Edgar and Joe's does for the community and for providing this non-judgmental space for everyone to enjoy!

The cafe is modern with big windows and great lighting. Great for studying. It was very clean on my visit. We didn't order food this time, but very much enjoyed our latte, smoothie, and London Fog. Service was friendly, but not the fastest. This is a cafe that's best enjoyed slowly anyway.

I have to mention that this is the best London Fog I've had from any cafe in London. The earl grey flavour was the perfect strength and tasted homemade - I can't stand the syrup versions. They also don't charge extra for non-dairy milk which is nice and a sad rarity in this city.

Open, sunny, bright space serving the best hashbrowns/home fries in London. Seriously good, perfectly crispy and salty pan-fried chunks of potato and sweet potato. The breakfast wrap is great too.

It is a brightly lit, centrally located, Cafe where the food and barista beverages are soo good. The staff is friendly and knows their products.

I love when businesses not only acknowledge the homeless, and allow them to sit inside the restaurant, but also make it possible/ available for patrons who wish to help by just buying a simple cup of coffee for another human being. Look at the number of times that people have shown kindness. It''s more than 44,000. I want to also add that a lot of people complain either rightly or not right about the homeless problem that we have in this city ( which is significant), however, here is a business that is wrapping its arms around these people who are not the problem. They are just a symptom of a broken down system. It is located "kitty-corner" to a homeless mission -so you know that there's a lot of need for kindness and acknowledgment.

I got a cappuccino, and strawberry and banana cupcake, which was delicious. Not too much sugar in the cupcake, the flavours were balanced, you could taste the strawberry and banana together really well. The cappuccino had great flavour with the cinnamon powder sprinkled on top.

The ambiance of this place is relaxing and minimalistic, with a lot of natural lighting and spacious seating, making it a fantastic spot for grabbing a meal with either friends or coworkers as well as a great spot to get some work done.

The food was delicious and tasted incredibly fresh. The coffee is certainly something I'll be returning for in the future.

Now it's story time:

My friends and I were excited to try Edgar and Joe's $4 breakfast wrap and coffee promotion as we've heard great things about the cafe, but we've never had the opportunity to experience it ourselves. Unfortunately, on our way to the cafe one of our tires blew, which meant we weren't able to make it to the cafe in time before their breakfast meal promotion ended. We were quite upset with a blown tire and our breakfast plans all screwed up, so we called the cafe in a last ditch effort to save our crummy day.

Crystal was extremely understanding and helpful; she may be one of the most personable workers I've had the pleasure of interacting with before. Not only did Crystal assure us that the cafe would serve us the breakfast special, but she even placed our orders in with a hold on them so that the food would be made fresh for us when we did finally arrive at the cafe. Without a doubt, Crystal's stellar service and kindness turned our day around and because of that we would not hesitate to recommend Edgar and Joe's Cafe to any of our family and friends.

Thanks for all of your help Crystal! And thank you to the staff of Edgar and Joe's Cafe for being so incredibly accommodating, it made all the difference for us today.

An unusual restaurant within a Goodwill Centre. Service took a while as we were a large group descending on Edgar and Joe's Cafe for breakfast but it was worth it. I had a beef brisket breakfast comprising of a very large portion of tender and delicious brisket with caramelized onions and crispy potato wedges with a fried egg on top. All very nice. This place gets the best sunlight, great food, and great coffee. The specials are delicious creative, and unique.

Brining together social responsibility and good food, Edgar and Joe’s cafe modernizes the cuisine experience. Open atmosphere, friendly staff and eye pleasing food. One of my favourite aspects is their community coffee where you can purchase a coffee for a less fortunate London resident. I recommend for a quick coffee break, or lunch get together.

Always worth the effort to get here. Don’t let the construction hold you back from one of the core area’s best food value’s with a great vibe, excellent food and beverage choices and a wonderful staff. I just popped in whilst doing a drop off and treated myself to an iced ☕ and a 🍑 with 🫚 muffin 😋.
The lunch and breakfast menu is still a very reasonably priced set of faves cooked fresh using quality ingredients.
Whether you are on your own or planning a meet up with friends you need to visit or revisit this core staple.
