Johnny's Restaurant

Stopped in here for breakfast recently.
Location and atmosphere were great, service was fast and friendly, and the food was bomb.

We had a meat lovers skillet and a classic breakfast with sausage. We really enjoyed the home fry chips, eggs were cooked perfectly, and the sausage was very good, not greasy or grissly.

Our server could have given us our bill when we asked for it instead of making us wait another 15 minutes while she took more orders and chatted with people, but that's not the restaurants fault.

Will definitely be back to try more items.

Absolutely fantastic local gem. Stopped by for coffee on the morning ride and ended up with eggs, bacon, toast and fries. Cooked to perfection and the staff is super friendly. Clean and reasonable price, biker friendly. If you're within driving/riding distance to Aylmer, just go, now.

We visited post eclipse, and it was crazy busy.
We ate the lasagna special and the sirloin steak special.
We ordered and the food arrived quickly after.
My steak was cooked exactly as ordered, and the lasagna was fantastic.
Pina colada cheesecake is really good, and my companion stated the chocolate cream pie was food heaven.
The staff was amazing in the middle of an unplanned super rush.
The servers and cook were fast, organized, and friendly.
This one I will ride back to just for the experience.
I highly recommend this restaurant.

Such a great place to eat. No complaints at all. Friendly staff, most were keeping busy. Very clean. Not overly priced and you get plenty to eat. Desserts looked so delicious but we were too full to order any.

The food is family friendly and home cooked ! It is soo good ! The pickerel was wonderful and the waitress was super knowledge able ! Good food good price ..good reason to go to Aylmer!

Great food and great service. Always a pleasure to dine in. My admiration on their decision to close Sundays as well.
The chicken tortilla soup is a favourite and always available.

Randomly came here after camping at Port Burwell and it was such a pleasant surprise. One of the best breakfast experiences I’ve had. Great food, good coffee and excellent service.

Friendly staff. Clean restaurant. Ample seating for a diner this size.

Parking is a bit of an issue, but there are plenty of spots at the surface lot less than a two minute walk away.

Great restaurant! Reviews online were so good had to go for lunch while in town. Friendly staff, helped with food choices, yummy food, very clean washrooms. If I lived closer would be eating there often. We were back on eclipse day and still great!

For great home cooking this is the place to go. Deserts are freshly made on site. I would recommend this restaurant when visiting Aylmer.

Love Johnny's. The portions are huge. I usually get the full size order of spaghetti and I can always get an additional 2 meals out of it!!

Just checking out Alymer and picked Johnny's for lunch. 2 specials. Delicious and if we relocate in Alymer.... Definitely will return.

The best breakfast in Aylmer and possibly in Ontario. Helen and Nety are veterans of the business and are great at what they do. Excellent lunch and dinner menu as well.
