I don't know why it took me so long to stop in The Gordita Shop as I have been following them on Facebook for some time now.
Stop in today for lunch and WOW what a great food experience delicious 😋
Very nice place amazing food and service, my waitress was great 👍.
My food was amazing everything was flavorful the best in this area normally I have to drive to Leamington for good Mexican food I'm so happy I have this great place in my own back yard.

Lovely little family run business that the entire family can enjoy! We had vegetarians and picky eaters at our table and still all enjoyed chips and salsa, drinks, and our meals. Fresh made and cooked well. We would go back and have recommended to others since we’ve been.

This place is honestly a hidden gem. I can't believe I had never heard about it until today. I decided to give it a shot based on the positive reviews here. The young man taking orders at the counter was extremely professional. The food didn't take long to get to the table and I really enjoyed all of it. Generous portions for the price for sure. There was an article on the wall talking about how this is a family business since 2016. Highly recommend La Cocina for your authentic mexican cravings! 🌮👍

Went out for dinner on a Friday night with my family. We really enjoyed the Mexican food. My boys ordered tacos, I had enchiladas and my wife had the fajitas. Everything was very good. App nachos and salsa were great... Bought some to take home. Actually the side fries were excellent too. Service was excellent. The tables were pretty well full by 5:30 (Friday).so plan accordingly.

We're new to the community and was passing through Aylmer only to find this local gem! Helen the owner was such a delight, along with her son, who provided amazing service AND the food was phenomenal!! We will be regulars at La Cocina! A must try, you won't be disappointed.

Honestly just amazing!! I am pissed off it took me so long to come here and how much I've missed out on . Never have I had better service at a restaurant everyone was so friendly and the food came out in 5 minutes . The food was delicious and the quantity was great . There prices are great for the quantity and quality of food . Keep up the amazing job and don't change , you now have a customer for life .

Had a craving for tacos which we were going to have in Port Stanley but the Taqueria is closed on Tuesdays. I had a Chile Colorado taco and my wife had chicken. I also had a chicken enchilada and we shared a nacho supreme. Everything was very good and it was a lot of food. The prices are excellent and the service very good.

I love coming to eat here with my wife. The decor is vibrant and festive and the music matches the vibe. Chips and salsa come out with the drinks which is uncommon at most other restaurants and a welcome treat. We typically order six tacos which come with more choices for fillings and toppings than expected. The bill is always surprisingly low for what feels like a superiorly authentic Mexican restaurant experience.

We took a walk at a nearby conservation area and wanted something appetizing for lunch! Not disappointed!

Phenomenal food at fair prices! As a vegetarian, I would say it's so good that it's worth a trip to Aylmer itself. I ordered the enchilada burrito and was greeted by an absolutely massive molten cheese block of pure perfection. Eat lunch/supper here and then head to Mennomex for some essential ingredients afterwards.

Made reservations for a Saturday night dinner. We were seated right away and given menus. Our order was taken within 5 minutes and our food arrived at the same time as our drinks.
Such an amazing meal and atmosphere. Homemade chips and salsa were delicious. Will definitely be back.

We were passing through Aylmer and spotted this charming restaurant on the main street. There was easy parking in front.
The ambiance is great. The owners are friendly and helpful. The refried beans were the best I've ever had.
I can highly recommend the pulled beef burrito.

What a fantastic experience at La Cocina! My wife and I went this evening and were thoroughly impressed. Amazing service, incredible food, and cozy decor makes for a time worth writing about. I had the milenesa burger, which was seasoned very well and nice and crispy! My wife had the enchilada burrito (pictured) which was gigantic! It had a very generous amount of cheese melted over the top, and a very flavorful sauce! Definitely the best bang for your buck, I recommend the barbacoa. Will definitely stop in again.

Nice ambience, inviting and clean. Excellent service from the owner and young girl that took over for her. We really enjoyed our pulled beef taco combo with all the toppings including fresh avocado and cilantro! I took some home for my family for supper, they had them packed up so nicely with ALL the toppings on the side. Highly recommend!!

It's our go to now.
Portions are not for the not so hungry,wow. Have taken food home every visit.

Excellent restaurant! Plenty of spots to sit and eat in, and comfy chairs to wait in if you've ordered for take out. I walking in and out with my 3 amazing tacos in minutes! The girl who took my order was very knowledgeable about what to get so I basically let her build my tacos! I will be back for sure ! And not just for tacos , I want to try all of that menu!
