My family and I were in town for a hockey game and decided to stop in for dinner before the game. We were absolutely blown away with the service, quality of food and vibe! The restaurant is so well decorated, down to the little details. We started with an incredible charcuterie board made up of local ingredients and was presented, in detail, to us by the owner. The cocktails were top tier as well. We then ordered 5 entrees, all of which were phenomenal. Even though we live over an hour away, we will definitely be making the trip back in the future!!

This place is amazing 👏 🤩 and it is the best restaurant in town. The soups, pasta (especially the vegetarian spaghetti 🍝), fries, lobster 🦞 and shrimp arancini, and the cocktails are to die for!! 😋 Thank you!

Imaginative, thoughtful dishes prepared with obvious care and attention to detail.

I'm a fish-eating vegetarian and asked for some small tweaks to my meal which were accommodated with a smile. I was not the only one in our party of 18 with odd requests and our excellent server never batted an eye.

These are interesting dishes, but you actually get fed; it's not ridiculous little portions. Pretty sure no one left hungry and the desserts are probably lovely but we had more than filled up on the appetizers and the main courses.

I think the menu changes often so I won't go into detail about anything. Lots of choices for vegetarians but the meat dishes looked fantastic too. If I ever fall off the wagon I'll start here.

From what I saw and heard, everyone enjoyed their meal and many people commented not only what a sophisticated menu it was, but how good the food tasted.

I've come here 2 years in a row on Mother's Day weekend to meet my daughters for lunch. It really is the cutest cafe with the nicest owners/ staff. I'm back in the area in a few months and will definitely be stopping in. We had the Caesar Buddha bowl, Mac and cheese with kimchi and the grilled cheese (vegetarian option - minus pastrami). These people sure can cook!! Absolutely delicious. (Thank you so much for opening up when you were closed to make us coffee for our long drive home! You are the best!)

Incredible everything. Had the beef sandwich. Attention to detail. We are in Alexandria once a year for a dance camp and we always come here. I wish this place was closer to Toronto. Incredible young owner and server (Vero and Stewart, respectively). Super well done!

Every last bite was absolutely delicious. We had the roast beef sandwich and the mac & cheese with salad, and coconut butter tarts for dessert as well as a couple of drinks. So, so, so good! Our server was absolutely lovely, too. It was our first time, but we will be back.

Super cute little bistro. Less than 10 tables for dine in. Extremely friendly staff, very accommodating of changes and dietary restrictions. Food was delicious. A real gem in Alexandria.

While in Alexandria for work, I went for dinner last night at la Belle Sorelle Bistro. I had a delicious clam chowder soup for the first time. The restaurant is very cozy with a lovely ambient. Very welcoming, friendly, and with extraordinary attention to customers. I loved and recommend. I will be back in other opportunities.

Absolutely delicious. One of the best meals since we left Toronto. Decor, loved it! Service a1, food , the best. The fries with gatlic aoili, the bedt, dtinks, the ginget Spice, excellent.

One of the best meals we've had in a long time! We got the calamari appetizer, and my husband and I each got the pork burrito. The basil aioli from the calamari was so delicious that we each got a side to dip our fries in as well. We were very hungry so we assumed there would be no leftovers, but the portions were larger than expected so we each had half of our burritos left! 10/10!

It was my first time at La Belle Sorelle. I have to say that I was quite impressed with this bistro. I had a small ceasar salad and then I had the pork burrito with the homemade chips, it was fantastic ! All ingredients were fresh ! The chef even put a sprinkle of fleur de sel on my salad, it was divine ! The service was great and it was a beautiful day to dine outside on the patio ! This place was clean, had the hand sanitizer as you came in. The place is good for the whole family and plenty of free parking, i will certainly go back ! Great food, service with a smile !

I don't often post a review unless a business has done something so remarkable that after a few hours I still haven't settled down. And I usually state that I hate that I can't truly give a star rating that is appropriate, usually zero. This is one of those times. I may have to review twice so I can give them 10 stars!

I recently comment to someone that I was so tired of restaurants all serving the same basic frozen junk purchased from the cheapest wholesaler.

This is not the Belle Sorelle. The food was unbelievably terrific, and obviously prepared with fresh quality ingredients and actual care and passion. The menu offerings were so well thought out I really struggled to choose, and the portions just the perfect size! I hate leaving a restaurant hungry!

The people there and service were amazing! Just the right mix of friendliness and helpfulness while not being overbearing.

Honestly one of the best experiences I have had in a long time. These people should give classes on how a small customer based business should be run.

What an adorable spot! This past week my partner, in-laws, and I were passing through Alexandria and needed a lunch spot break. We stumbled upon La Belle Sorelle and were super happy with our meals!

Large portions, affordable pricing, wonderful service! We had a great experience and all took left overs home with us! I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area again :)

La Belle Sorelle is a hidden gem! The owner Vicky is a delightful host, always welcoming and accommodating. The soup and sandwich was a delightful surprise, with fresh ingredients and a satisfying flavor. The ambiance is cozy and charming, making it the perfect place to enjoy a relaxed meal. I highly recommend this restaurant and give it a well-deserved five stars!

This place is a hidden gem!! Me and my mom came here today at lunch and it was absolutely amazing. The device is fantastic, our waiter was the best. I asked for extra ice and he gave me a whole cup of ice lol!! It was perfect. They also are very accommodating to any special requests which is awesome. The food is what really stands out, it was so moist, delicious, everything food should be. I had the pork burrito and Mac and cheese, both of which were a 10/10. My mom got chicken tacos and a salad and she said it was the best tacos she’s ever had. So much flavour and everything was so fresh and homemade, right down to the pickled bean on my Caesar drink. We got desserts to take home, best tiramisu ever!!!!!! And they have some cute little things like water bottles, spices, and more all of which were so cute and handy.

We will 10000000% be coming back!! This is our new go to spot❤

We recently had the Belle Sorelle Bistro cater a wedding. Everyone was impressed with the food. I HIGHLY recommend this little bistro.
If you are on a Sunday drive, take a detour and stop by to sample their menu. If you need an event to be catered, they are the ones to call on.

What a great find in Alexandria. We enjoyed a terrific and innovative appetizer (salmon tartar). Cocktails were lovely; the soup was total comfort food; the roast-beef sando was next level; gourmet mac & cheese was a bit sinful and the take home butter pecan tarts for late night dessert were over the top. What more does one need??!!
The service was enthusiastic and welcoming.
All in all one of the nicest meals out we've had in awhile. Looking forward to returning soon.
