First time my fiance and I went there since the new management has taken over and I have to say we will be back all the food we ordered was amazing and the mozza sticks where cooked to perfection 👌 and was so gooey when I bit into them, the burger and home made fries were amazing and also cooked to the way I liked and my fiance loved how crispy and how good the price was for 1 pound of wings I added pictures for context thanks for serving us and as always it's good to support local

The beers are very good, the service is excellent and the place is pleasant.

Good food great atmosphere

The best Fish & Chips I had while in the Maritimes. Stopped by for pickup, with the family waiting in the car. The service was friendly. I was totally thrown off by having to order at the bar, next to the "regulars", but even the patrons seemed friendly! Would definitely recommend it!

Was here today and we had a very enjoyable meal. Large portions. My fish and mashed potatoes was very good. Prompt friendly service. Very clean. I will eat there again. Was worth the drive from Truro.

Great food, big portions, reasonable price.

Kind of a sports bar but not really very cute decor which paired with our amazing and cheerful waitress created a great atmosphere.

The Friday steak special came with a sizeable steak with a nice chat on it and the mashed potatoes were made with actual potato's.

The steak sandwich had a generous portion of every ingredient and tasted delicious!

Consistent food at good prices that can't be beat. Wonderful Staff, and regulars who make you feel right at home!

Delicious food, and the service is prompt. Drinks land on the table within just a few minutes of sitting down. There's a new patio being built that looks like a great spot to sit and have a few bevys

Had the spinach dip with homemade nacho chips and a Trider's red. Enjoyed it thoroughly. Thanks to Alisha for the wonderful service. Met the Canoe Jousting champion as well!

Good food and friendly service.

It's a working man's Tavern, plain and simple. Do not expect anything faux or pretentious. But the Staff is friendly, efficient and The Elm Tree serves the very best Fish and Chips in Amherst.

Really good food but l got one piece fish and chips but l asked if l could something instead of fries and she said onion rings or mashed and l said onion rings and she said yes but she never said it would costs $1,99 more she should have told me and l would have just have got fries but all the food was really good.Thanks

Sadly, this establishment was bought by new owner who immediatly closed it down. Such a shame, the food was really good.
