Beautiful location and exquisite food! Worth the drive to Port Elgin! They were supper nice and accommodating, the decoration is simply gorgeous and the ambiance is quiet and welcoming. 100% recommend and will come back! We had fishcakes and chicken chimichanga

Oh gosh this place is a gem. If you're traveling from NS to PEI, make the time to stop here in Baie Verte for lunch. Such a beautiful spot. (The little hamlet where it's located is sweet too.) The food is delicious. The staff are lovely.

Out celebrating with girlfriends, could not have picked a better local. Waitress was lovely and attentive, she made it easy to mix and match off the menu. We all enjoyed our choices as we sat in the sun room and enjoyed each other's company.

Incredible experience, we ordered 5 different appetizers, 3 main course and tried 3 wines & desert & espresso! Everything was A M A Z I N G ! Gisele the owner is very nice & definitely knows so well what she’s doing with Le Chat Bleu concept!

An amazing stop on our journey! We just happened to be passing by and I'm so glad we decided to eat here. Everything we ordered was phenomenal and the staff was so friendly. 11/10 would recommend stopping here!!

We came across this place in a bit of a surprise as we were touring around the area. Super cute and charming and quaint. We came right at opening and were served quickly. A bit of a random menu with dishes from all different regions. I know it might sound boring but would have been nice to have at least one menu item that was more North American breakfast/brunchy style. We had the spanakopita and French Onion soup, both very tasty. And they made an amazing latte!!! Highly recommend a visit to this cute little spot.

Im from Ontario, since a week ago when I visited Nova scotia, PEI and new brunswick I tried sea food in several locations. Seared Arctic Char of Bistro Le Chat Bleu was the best food I had among all of these restaurants. Very very cosy reataurant, friendly staff and amazing food. Definately a 5 star. Loved this place. Thank you!

Wow, absolutely amazing. Lovely place with great food, beautiful presentation and great service. Would absolutely recommend to anyone, especially if you are tired of eating fried food 😉.

What a very pretty decorated bistro! We were agreeably surprised! Well prepared dishes such as the seafood spaghetti, pork cutlet dish and karaage chicken!

What a very pleasant surprise! We usually stop at Irving big stop after coming off the island but decided to try something different and this place had good ratings. It was hopping and busy for good reason. We did not have a reservation but they squeezed us in. Really friendly Service Great ambience and unique delicious food. We shared the warm bread salad and then had the breaded pork on rice dish with peanut sauce, chicken tortilla soup, carrot cake and espressos. Really really lovely place and we will definitely stop again on our many many trips to the island.

I have looked forward to dining here since I saw the restaurant on 'Land and Sea'. It did not disappoint! The food was presented artfully, and the mix of flavours and textures in the salad were wonderful. The salmon cakes were nice and crispy on the outside. I will return as will my guests. Make reservations.

What an amazing bistro. My wife and I are driving across the country and this is still the best meal we've had. The service was exceptional and prompt and we were squeezed in to a large table as we hadn't made reservations. Worth taking the minor detour to get here, and call ahead, it's worth it!

Amazing and unique food, server was extremely nice, we were 4 adults 1 kid and ended up spending around $140, will recommend.

Grest service, delicious food, and very cozy and charming place. We especially loved the crab cakes, the onion soup, and the deserts. Little hidden gem!

This place is perfect - food, decor, but especially the people. Lucky enough to get in without a reservation and at peak time thanks to the kindness of the owners. Food was so fresh and local - loved every bite and sip, and can't wait to come back to the area so we can return here.

We stumbled onto this place almost by accident driving from PEI to Halifax. I said I was hungry, my wife said this place was coming up, we drove down a few obscure roads, and there it was. For being kind of in the middle of nowhere, it was full, and the reason I'm sure is the food. This was one of the best meals of our entire vacation, and at a price lower than just about anywhere else we ate. Delicious seafood pasta, and pork chop. And the strawberry/rhubarb pie was fantastic as well, with a crust completely unlike anything you'll normally see in a restaurant pie, very light and buttery and flaky. Only open Thursday to Sunday. A reservation might be useful although we didn't have one.

OMG! What a great find! was thinking about what should eat as drove by (on the route Google said was "21 minutes slower") and saw the building with lots of cars outside. I went in and was so glad did. Super friendly and really amazing food. Plus, they support local businesses.
