Variety Cafe

Woodfield is so lucky to have Variety Cafe. Crystal & co. have created true community within the cozy space. The product itself is very good, from the Detour beans to the baked goods & food. Bonus that they support artists in the city & bring their work into the space for you to enjoy. Worth a visit if you're not already a regular.

If I’m not at home, I’m here. My favourite spot in the neighbourhood. Staff are so friendly and warm, and remember everyone that comes in regularly. The food is always made fresh with local ingredients and so good. I wait for their seasonal berry matcha every spring/summer.

Such a lovely cafe! Staff were very friendly and accommodating and the food was awesome! I got the apple, brie, kale, and honey sandwich with a croissant and a lemonade, all of which were fantastic - I even got another lemonade to go on my way out. My friends each got a salami mommy sandwich and enjoyed them as well. I also highly recommend the La Noisette bagels they carry! Atmosphere is very fun yet cozy, I felt very comfortable during my visit. Will definitely come back when I can!

The food is superb, the decor and the general atmosphere makes me feel inspired and at home. The people who work at this cafe feel like the greatest friends. I can’t recommend this place enough!

My new favourite cafe. Excellent prices, and they don’t charge a premium for non-dairy or vegan needs! The staff are lovely and if you dine in, they give you the coolest cups to drink from! The space is clean and unique, and they easily have the best cafe washroom in the city.

— Bowtie pasta with chicken pesto
— Roast beef sandwich on a croissant
— Deviled egg sandwich on a croissant

My friend and I were driving past and decided to check out — best decision we’ve ever made together. The coffee is absolutely delicious, and their pastry options looked very good too but we had just eaten so we decided to pass. The barista helping us was very kind as well. I’d definitely recommend if you’re in the area !

One of my favourite places to grab coffee. Great atmosphere, incredible staff, and trust me - you NEED to try a jalapeño bomb. This is a must try (warning: this must try will turn you into a regular)

Delicious cappuccino, really dark, the way I like it. I also had one of their chocolate chip home made cookies. Excellent attention from a very friendly server. Super cute vintage diner look with original pieces, diner style in the typical orange and green from...the 60's? I need to double check. In any case, really lovely corner!

indescribably cozy, funky, and homey. the coffee is good, the service is better :)

it just screams your local neighborhood cafe and there's no words to describe how comforting it is to grab a cup of coffee, a sweet treat, and get some work done here.

wifi is fast, washroom is clean, and occasional baby sightings are all bonuses!!!

What a great little gem in London! A classic corner store converted into a pleasant cafe with pastries and simple sandwiches. Coffee is excellent. We had the ham and swiss baked sandwich on a croissant—hit the spot for brunch. And the staff were super sweet. Def wanna try the tiny chocolate croissants next time.

Coffee - 12 out of 10. This is the best coffee I had in the past couple month. (I travel a lot)
Food - My croissant was enough buttery, crunchy and very delicious. It's like the real French recipe.
Atmosphere - Very cozy. Different kind of tables and seats. Good for little company, family time of even work.
Service - Kind and welcoming

Beautiful retro vintage atmosphere and kind staff. But most impressively delicious matcha latte with lots of matcha flavour and gorgeous latte art.

Adorable new little cafe, fun retro vibes, owners are lovely! I had lunch yesterday and breakfast today. Yesterday I had apple, brie & honey sliders and an iced ginger tea! This morning a latte and fruit and yogurt bowl. Both were delicious and fresh, yesterday I devoured my lunch before stopping to take a picture, but took this beauty today. Will definitely be back! Check it out!

I always appreciate a place that has barista plant milks. The worst thing is when cafes use the grocery store bought Silk milks- so I'm happy I found a good cafe to go to in London that doesn't do that! The flat white I had was perfect! The ambiance was very cool too. 🐻

Had a lovely experience at this vintage inspired cafe; though it is easy to over look, this place is definitely a cute visit to experience at least once.
I purchased an iced matcha latte with a pecan butter tart; and yes they are just as sweet as it looks.
Definitely recommend 10/10

This place is great. A really eclectic vibe. Food is phenomenal, the vegan nanaimo bars are a personal favourite. Staff is friendly and atmosphere is super cozy and inclusive.

Perfect little Cafe! My husband and I actually talk about doing the same thing when the space was still empty. Cozy, retro feel is perfect! So cute!!

I have only eaten there twice, and both times are takeout rush kinds towards closing. So I haven't got to know the place as well as I should, but I'll definitely be going back! Delicious!!!!! If you're vegetarian, I'd recommend the hummus wrap with pickled vegetables mmmmmmm

I was so happy that Variety opened in the Woodfield Neighbourhood! Their bottle shop is amazing! Their coffee is delicious as are their baked goods and sandwiches. The service is always so warm and I LOVE the music they play. The Cafe creates an atmosphere that is inclusive and safe. I have nothing but praise for them. I wished we had more businesses like them in London. I go at least once a week and it always brightens my day. Great music, great food, great service!

An amazing café! Close to home and worth the walk. They use a very flavourful bean and the food is delicious. It’s easy to become a regular!
