the best sandwich my boyfriend and i have ever had. they were huge, fresh and not all that expensive. we also got the tomato chickpea soup and fries, and everything was excellent. owner and staff member were super friendly, can’t wait to come back!

Small cute place that serves great sandwiches. Extremely light on the stomach, we can choose whatever toppings we want and how much ever big we want to make the sandwiches. They also have few vegetarian and vegan options to choose from. Also, they have a variety of beverages to choose from out of which the orange cream soda was the best we liked🧉

The Garage Sandwich Co. Ltd has the best food in town hands down. They're signature garage mayo is to die for, I would drown in it and die happy.

The staff is always welcoming, creating a positive and personalized experience. I've never seen anyone leave without a smile on their face.

Take out sandwich shop. Excellent, freshly made sandwiches from fresh ingredients. Pricing is a little more than some big-chain coffee shops, but there is no comparison with the quality,
service and selection. One sandwich is a good-sized lunch and will fill up most people.

Came here for a sandwich today and it was delicious. So much care went into it and the people were so great. It was fast service done well. Also the poutine! We got a buffalo chicken poutine and it tasted exactly like hot wings in a poutine which was fantastic! Highly recommend!

We have allergies, they are excellent at making sure everything is separate. Our favourite is the mechanics club !!! Fries are delicious too! Gluten and egg free bread is one of the best ones we have tried !

Very good variety of sandwiches. Very fun menu, gluten free options, vegan soup, variety of fries, on the Main Street with easy parking. Good, clean and helpful staff.

These are the dirtiest poutines I've ever had in my life. The gravy, cheese, and whatever they do to their fries really makes the poutines absolutely blown away in taste. And don't even get me started on their garage mayo, I want that sauce on everything I eat for the rest of my life haha. I've tried the sandwichs a few times and found them very fresh and full of flavor. This is definitely the gem of Port Elgin for take out and everyone needs to try it.
Staff are very friendly and proffesional but there have been times I've come in and it seems a bit uneasy. Possibly due to how busy they get.
I'll definitely continue to order from here, thanks Garage.

I eat here at least once every two weeks. Absolutely awesome service and quality in house made ingredients and menu items. Soups are fantastic and the sandwiches to die for. I order the in house roasted chicken on rye with various ingredients like sweet potato and roasted red peppers. Port Elgin has so many great mom and pop businesses and this one is 5🌟.

A little disappointed that my Canadian Club came without the chicken. But, this place makes such delicious, quality food I'm not even mad because it's so good.

Friendly staff, good size portion, price point on the high side. I ordered the montreal smoke meat rueban. Bread was stale and the sandwich literally fell apart as I tried to eat it. I will return, select a different sandwich and specifically ask for fresh bread.

Management/Owner replied to my review. There explanation and position on my experience is valid. They truly care about their products and their service levels They deserve a review of 5.

Literally the best sandwiches i have ever eaten. they take such great care in putting the things together, always carefully placing ingredients to ensure every bite is perfect. drives me nuts when you go somewhere like subway and they put all the toppings on one side of the bread, that is never an issue at garage sandwich. kind of expensive but the sandwiches are super thick and you never get any gross veggies because everything is super fresh. would absolutely recommend

They have vegan gravy for fries. We brought our own dairy free cheese and they added it for us. Will be back for poutine

Amazing place, amazing people. Went in here for the first time yesterday and the food was absolutely delicious. I'm a celiac and they had some ACTUAL gluten free options which was super awesome!! Dedicated fryer for their fries too, I wasn't sick for once eating somewhere! They also have multiple vegan options as well, if that's the lifestyle you choose for yourself.
I know I'll definitely be back again!!!

I've been going here for my high-school lunch breaks, it's an absolute go-to. Food is pretty darn good, especially their poutines. Absolutely recommend if your looking for poutine in the area. Great people there too.

I've tried so many Ontario poutines, and I can confidently say this is the best one in Ontario. I can't visit Port Elgin without getting their poutine now. The owner really knows what he's doing and he's sourcing some excellent ingredients. Where the hell are these curds coming from, and why are no other poutine places using them?? 5 starts easy peasy

Always delicious. Never had a poor quality meal here. My husband and I done here frequently and would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat. Best poutine around and sandwiches to die for. Pasta salad is also the best I've ever had. 10/10

Delicious sandwiches, well crafted, great value and they hit the spot. A side of chili made the meal complete.
