Ashanti Coffee

Cafe is located in a prime location in Port Elgin downtown. Ordered Macchiato with Caramel shot and it was amazing. Service was quick and easy. Cafe has a good number of sitting spaces with nice chairs and couches.

What a surprise! Popped into here because the African connection appealed to me. The service was good, the decor and atmospheric were comfortable. The coffee was unique and tasty, I bought a bag of beans on the spot. The biggest tips - the pastries! I had the spinach and cheese Danish. Soft, fluffy, tasty - how it should be

Great spot for strong coffee (I loved my double macchiato), attentive service, and plenty of seating options both inside and out. Even board games are available for those long, lazy afternoons! Their donuts and pastries are excellent, along with generously filled prepared sandwiches (curried egg, yummmm)!

Great coffee and tea selection. Sandwiches and snacks are fantastic. Their home made doughnuts are hard to say no to. Would recommend as a first stop to kick off the day

Just a great place to have a coffee with friends in the morning. The staff is always friendly. If there are to many people ordering food in the line up the owner quickly gets my coffee and allows me to sit. I do appreciate the thought.

Beautiful in the inside and a beautiful cup of iced chai latte. Love all of the options and each cup is filled with lots of love. The barista know what they are doing! I'd definitely go back here for other options! So much to choose from with delicious and high quality beans!!

Fantastic food and amazing staff. The atmosphere at Ashanti is very welcoming and the staff are all super friendly. The lattés are top notch here as well as the teas they serve. Likewise the food here is really great, you can tell the ingredients are high quality the preparation flawless. This is the best café I’ve been to. The selection of food here is plenty, the baked goods are scrumptious and the coffee is fantastic. To top the staff are all delightful and make everyone feel welcomed.

We come from a place with countless excellent coffee outfits, and would gladly drive ~3 hours to enjoy Ashanti's offerings. Awesome beans. Great vibe, all the foodstuffs are great, and the donuts in particular stand out.

We visited this shop on the holiday Monday. The service was amazing and the donuts were still fresh even though they were closing in an hour! Best donuts we have ever had! My son LOVED the eclair! We will be back!

Met the owner and she is absolutely amazing! Her husband makes the pastries which are out of this world. Staff is always helpful and super friendly, drinks are the best in the area and there rewards card is brilliant!!

Really nice spot from what our quick visit could tell. Pleasant staff and decent selection of drinks and snacks. We'll be back for sure to try more but what we had (salted Carmel latte, gingerbread latte and an apple fritter) was all good.

Great local coffee shop. I enjoy their food items and the coffee of course. Staff are nice and helpful. I would much rather support this shop then others in the area as it’s always more of a pleasant experience then anywhere I’ve been too.

Love the London Fogs here. They have a variety of milk options too, including oat and coconut milk.

Their donuts are amazing. The apple fritters are the best.

Amazing coffee with great beans sourced from a coffee farm that they own. Everyone is lovely and helpful and they have a variety of non-dairy options for their drinks. The atmosphere is really warm and comfortable. Ashanti is a great space.

Cute spot ! Right in the heart of downtown. Beautiful desserts if youre so inclined and a good selection of coffees ect. The owner is kind and attentive and the staff is friendly and accommodating You have to stop by if you're in the area !
