Museum of Lennox & Addington

A delight experience of historical exhibition in a modern structure. Kind, welcoming staff and it seems to be well managed. My girl loved the place, we are going to visit some events here next time :)

I don't remember much as I was a kid when I used to go; but I did go once with my bud Jeff during school hours & the staff were chill. Showed us around and talked about the exhibits, etc.
Didn't even get in trouble when called out on this by our teacher 'cause we skipped learning to learn. That day was a blast. I definitely need to head over at some point again and re-educate myself.

Your town made it the most beautiful country feeling of a Great Town at Christmas !! To me It had a feeling of reading a story book for every street has it own story!!! You should be very proud of yourself!! I can see alot of thought and hard work within to making it so beautiful ❤🎄❄☃

It’s so great to see a piece of history preserved. Although not very large, there is a lot of information of local businesses, politicians and the people that created the history of the town of Napanee.

Small museum but three very well presented exhibits, Dark sky, 1960's space toys, and a history of L&A county, and agriculture. Very reasonable admission prices.

What a wonderful museum for a small area. They had a main exhibit on in a room off the lobby, and the rest of the building housed a great assortment of antiques representing the history of the area. I would have liked a larger gift/book section to add to the experience.

I love the Museum and Archives. Whether you're researching your family tree or looking for local information, one interesting fact leads to another. And the museum, housed in the same building, is always fascinating, filled with local and travelling displays.

What a great community resource! The archives reading room is first class. Special programming is imaginative and always well done. I particularly enjoyed Tim Nimigan's retrospective Art exhibit.

Beautifully renovated in approx 2014. Modern look with plenty of old exposed walls. Impressive exhibits for a small town. Includes jail cells to "lock" your kids in!

Attended a dinosaur related program with my three kids and it was pretty great! Modelling clay was pretty hard for me to work let alone kids but other than that a ton of fun.

Enjoyed a very nice visit learning about Napanee and area's history. Particularly found the historical period dresses interesting. So amazed at how tiny people were in the late 1800's.

This place is so cool! I love all the kids activities they host. We always visit the Christmas tree show where they bring in reindeer.

The Archivist is awesome, helpful and aware of where to look. Safety protocols are not that cumbersome or hard to manage. Thank you.

Very cool building. Lots of neat artifacts. Well executed Lego and Meccano event 2019.

An architecturally beautiful museum portraying local history. There are interactive displays and lots to learn, something for everyone.
