Rock Creek Riverside Campground

This place is great! We are traveling late in the year and most of the rec sites etc are shut down, so we pulled in here to see if they were open and a fella came over on an ATV to greet us. We passed him a bit of cash and had the whole place to ourselves, beside the beautiful Kettle River. Lots of grass for the horses and we could hear some goats across the field. No fuss, no hassle just a beautiful spot to pull in for the night. Its probably really busy in summer but theres plenty of space at the sites for larger units. Just the kind of rustic camping we love!

We really enjoyed our time here. It’s really nice to be right on the River. Some spots have lots a trees and others don’t have any so it can be hit or miss if you just show up. There’s lots of outhouses and garbage bins around which is great for tenting. Also, all sites have a picnic table and a fire pit. My only real complaint is you get some road noise from the hwy but other than that, a great location for $30 per night.

Fantastic we loved ge view, river and location

We have been to this father and daughter run beauty of a site for ten mins @ 7pm and on a whim got set up with a riverside spot, firewood and and an extra picnic bench brought over. Such hospitality and kindness! Looking forward to a dip in the river then dinner and drinks! Thanks guys!!!

Stayed here a couple years ago and it was amazing beautiful and peaceful. I think this spot may have been burnt down in a forest fire though so double check before heading out.

Super enjoyable place, where you can sit at the rivers edge all day and listen to birds ( nesting Lewis Woodpeckers, Morning Doves...).Surrounded by mature cotton wood trees, grass, soft sand and of course the sound of flowing water- it’s heavenly .

Amazing place for families close to the river edge, and as well to gas staions and stores where you can get everythings, what you want, but no hot water and showers facilities😉, and the owner is very nice guy.

Beautiful place. Had a nice big gathering with friends..floated down the creek. Just a great time. Going back next year.

Went during the week and it was quiet enough that I could get into one of the nicer forested spots. Campground and facilities were clean and the park staff were friendly.
