A park where you can bring your children and be safe. Also excellent for fishing and just catching a nice sunset

First time.. on a beautiful day with my fiancee. We loved walking along the river. Checking out the lighthouse, as well as, (and very much to our surprise) there was 2 freighters anchored in the middle of the Detroit River just out front of the lighthouse.
It's amazing how festive it is down here. Detroit is coming back baby!

Loved this peaceful park with the Lighthouse tucked away along the riverfront. The local residents fishing and I saw the biggest "catfish uncooked" that I have ever seen!

Windmill Point Lighthouse is very small but it sits next to a nice river view and walkway along a seawall. It sits on a spot that the Bob-Lo boats used for docking years ago.
