Love the international foods. I usually try to buy one thing from the offerings each visit. Good prices; great selection; nice staff.

I often buy vegetable and fruits this store . The price is convenient for everyone. There are often discounts on different produce. I like to buy frozen mackerel fish, because I can make a herring out of it. Large selection pasta and oil. The store is clean and everything is conveniently placed in sections. The staff are friendly and ready to help. I recommend Food Basics.

This is a good place for discounts and stuff on sale. Everything is close by so you have to walk from one end of the store to the other for long. The place is always clean. The produce and meat department always have fresh foods. The check outs are usually quick. The staff is always friendly and easy to find if you need help. They have public wash rooms and there is lots of parking. The only thing that is a negative is the hours. I wish they were open a couple hours later. But, I can't complain too much this place is great.

Love the hour set aside for elderly & disabled.
No crowds to fight, help easier to find & no long lineups to check out.
Store is clean, well stocked on sale items, friendly staff and much more.
I will not go anywhere else because of the positives of this store.

I much prefer this place over the nearby Zehrs. Quality, pricing, and selection all seem to be superior.

Their self-serve system is pretty-bad though.

it was really clean. I like the guy front of the door was still giving sanitizer and clean all carts. also ask people if they were not wearing mask properly. really friendly person in self checkout she was really carefully helped us. prices are good also there.

The store itself is good. Last week I bought Selections bacon in the 1kg pkg on sale. It's awful. When I first opened the package it was all wet inside. When you put it in the frying pan it immediately releases a lot of water and white foamy stuff just like the white flesh fish that's soaked in sodium triphosphate before being frozen to absorb water and increase the weight. I've never seen this before in bacon and it was a major disappointment. The bacon shrunk to half the size and the taste was blah. Will never buy this particular product again.

They have the best fruits and vegetables. Also they have a huge selection of foods from other countries. I love it.
Prices are low.
They have clerks at check out not self check out which is great. All around a really great grocery chain

Excellent product. Mainly food items and varieties of vegetables. Reasonable rates.

The food is always fresh not like some of the other food basics I have been to.

I shopped all their flyer deals and they had everything in stock. Such a nice and clean grocery store.

Great new and clean store with plenty of variety. This lower cost grocery store places pressure on Sobeys and Zehrs to have better prices.

One only best food and vegetables mall of Canada where one can get everything for Home kitchen with quality.

Food Basics is one of the best Food Markets in Windsor they have very helpful employees that are willing to assist their customers in case you can't find an a particular item and always serve you with a smile.

This grocery store has great value. We buy just about all our groceries here. It's clean, well priced, and the staff are friendly and helpful. They have a great selection of European and Asian foods.
