Wow! Fantastic beach park, and VERY popular. If you are coming here to get away from it all, this is the wrong place. Jam-packed with people and activities, which is wonderful as well. The place is a perfect place for families to bring their kids. They have outhouses and picnic tables before you head down to the trail to the beach. The park closes at 8:00 pm and the gates are secured. A beautiful beach park.

Absolutely love this beach!
You just need to think and plan ahead before going. Definitely need to check the tide times and yes, the beach is a popular one. Hence, think and plan ahead for when to go. We went after a long weekend and it was perfect for my little toddlers.

Such a gorgeous beach! This is a perfect beach for families as it is shallow with lots of sandbars and warm waters. Be sure to put your stuff on the dry sand near the dunes otherwise you may be surprised by the tides.

Great beach bit if a walk from parking but waters usually warmer than anywhere else

My family and I love this beach! It is the perfect beach for swimming. When the tide is in you do not have to walk far into the water to be able to take a dip and when the tide is out its perfect for kids. The sand is beautiful and there's not many rocks. Perfect sand for sand castle building! It also boasts an awesome picnic area before you get to the beach. I will say that it is quite a walk for anyone who may have mobility issues but the board walk is nice and the path is level enough for a wheelchair to make it over. At the end of the boardwalk there are only steps leading to the beach so please be prepared. If there was another walkway we did not see it.

Beautiful beach. Nice sand. Sand bars at low tide are great for little ones. Shaded picnic tables available on site.

Beautiful beach with lots of sand bars and beach space at lower tides. They have daytime picnic areas as well as changing houses and some bathrooms (drop toilet, not flush).

Nice clean beach, good parking with a board walk right to the beach. Be careful of the poison ivy - read the signs! There is only stair access to the beach right now, but I'm sure the ramp will be open again soon? We were there on a hot day and it wasn't too bust.

Lots of parking. It is a lovely scenic walk to the beach. Lots of picnic tables and washrooms and changing rooms. The beach is gorgeous and when it is full tide you can walk out for a long distance without going over your head. Great for swimming or kayaking or sitting on the beach and catching some rays. Oh and the water is warm unlike the Bay of Fundy.

Beautiful beach approximately 15 minutes east of Tatamagouche. Lots of parking, nice walk along a boardwalk that leads up to the beach. Although narrow, the sand is nice and seemed quite clean and well kept. Don't let the cool coastal breeze fool you! Lather up!

You wouldn't believe a beach in Canada would have warm waters... this one does!!! My goodness this beach has beautiful, clean and WARM water. It's also shallow, so you are able to walk far into the water and it still be up to your knees. This will now be our go to beach when we visit.

Amazing beach with a sand bar. This makes the water shallow and warm, great for the little ones. Lots of space to accommodate a large crowd. Very clean, no litter around. Plenty of parking. Picnic tables around, some of them under cover. Change rooms and outhouses also there. No water for cleaning or drinking available.

Lovely beach and the water was oh so warm. Nice sandy beach. Charcoal pits to put hot coals from your BBQ make it a great place to picnic too. :)
