Peaceful River Campground Ltd.

Nice open spaces, lots of seasonal folks and a few short term. Controlled access 24/7, but the owners were very good to help us make arrangements not to disturb them or the camping neighbours the night we came in late after a concert.

Dogs of all shapes and sizes, including the owners' pets, all very well behaved while we were there.

Lots of folks with golf carts and ATVs, so there may be local trails - we weren't there long enough to see.

Bring all your essential supplies when you arrive since the nearest corner store is at least 15 minutes away and a little hard to find, and the nearest decent sized town 30+ minutes away. Save a map of the area to your phone in advance and check routes carefully to avoid the long gravel road from the highway. There are several paved routes right up to the final few hundred metres.

ZERO cell signal in the camper, occasional minimal signal outside, wifi available at the gate house only - unless you have your own satellite. Cell signal picks up a few minutes' drive away.

The owners were friendly and helpful and it's a perfect place to really disconnect for a while. :)

We spent a weekend at Peaceful River with friends and had an amazing time.
Owners are very friendly and accomadating. They came by after we were set up to make sure we had everything we needed and let us know what was going on for activities.

Seasonals are all friendly and welcoming.
Beautiful park with great facilities including playground. Beautiful clear river for floating or soaking the most beautiful gazebo I have seen at any campground. Big clean showers ATV trail access

We had such a great time we decided to take a seasonal lot for the rest of this season and next and so did our friends.

A great seasonal campground that is also great for travelers. Like a club, everyone knows everyone and looks out for everyone. They were sure nice to us during Hurricane Dorian, checking on us throughout the day and night. There is a lot to see and do in the area. Incredible electric layout, good water and a great clubhouse, showers and laundry. Couldn't be more pleased.

I’m a new seasonal here. I love this place! My dogs and I spend a great deal of time either walking along the river or swimming in. The owners are friendly and the neighbours are great.

Kids had fun playing in river catching frogs and swimming. Nice new smaller campground. Easy to get to. Great facilities. Live band was awesome! We will be back😀👍

I enjoy visiting this quiet campground. My mom is a seasonal and the place is so peaceful and set away from traffic.
