Boundary Museum & Archives

Outstanding representation of life in Grand Forks and the Doukhobors. The location in an old school house was poignant and the many artefacts and photos gave a good understanding of the history.
The info about the Doukhobors was excellent as was the staff who were very knowledgeable.

I had a very interesting visit at the Boundary Museum today with my daughter. The museum attendant was extremely knowledgeable. The museum was well laid out and housed a complete history of Grand Forks. I will be back.

This is a lovely little museum that covers the history of the many diverse peoples in the area. The main draw is Matthew, the museum’s curator. He’s very knowledgeable and personable. As we were the only people visiting, he gave us our own private tour of the museum and added some great context to the exhibits. Would recommend a visit if you’re in the area.

A great place to stop and see Grand Forks BC history. Have a picnic or rent the place for a wedding or activities. I have been there lots of times for a walk through the Boundary Museum and other activities. Enjoy the area.

A very unique meaeum with friendly staff. Cost is $5 for adults and you can stay as long as you want. The staff is knowledgeable of the artifacts and willing to interact with the guests and answer questions.

The Museum continues to gather artifacts reflecting local history. Some of those artifacts are refurbished to an operational level making them invaluable to the Interpretative Centre. Examples: brick oven, blacksmith shop, drag saw, buggies and stagecoach.

Lots of interesting bits of history and paraphernalia. The kids enjoyed it, but I swear some of the displays invited child tampering; we played a lot of defense, so couldn't read all the displays.

Wandered from room to room looking and reading about the history of the area. Not overly large so just fun to wandered through
