Simrans NOFRILLS Grand Forks

I need to put out a BIG shout of appreciation for SHARLA who has worked there for years. She cares and works hard! She went above and beyond in providing great customer service.
Love the added variety of ethnic foods this store has. My go to place.

We were staying at the Grand Forks Inn across the street and had to get a quick breakfast so we walked across the street to the supermarket and I must say it's very clean, great prices it happens to be a President's choice Loblaws store which I like very much. The staff are very friendly and it's got a wide variety of everything you need even household items. Better prices than the local save on in town.

Nice store and it is quite large. They rarely have sales on though. They have a good selection of vegetarian and vegan food choices, and gluten free etc.

Fantastic edition to Grand Forks, very bright and vibrant with a large selection of produce and fish. Self checkout lanes make the experience quick and easy.

Stoped off here on our way to Nelson. Packed up on food. Great selection of fresh produce .

Cheapest place in town to shop. The garden centre in the spring is amazing! It's nice that they are trying to keep the costs down on some of the staples when food costs are so high right now.

Great Staff. I have been going here for years. They are also an excellent place for younger people to gain employment and learn valuable work ethics.

If you have a place in Christina Lake, Grand Forks is the place to grocery shop, and the Extra Foods has the largest selection.

Great all round store. Do sign up for the points card. I have made over $1,000 in only a few years and I don't spend much.
It will be sad to see the point system changing in the future and pharmacy gone.

I'm going to change my rating because the general manager was awesome. I had called to complain about an item that was not scanning at sale price and I was given the item after he looked into it. Exceptional customer service.

A huge rave for this company and the employees that work for them. Came if for some groceries and directionS to a printing company to get something printed, Steve took care of both with a professional and happy attitude! This type of service and attitude of going above and beyond set them at that next level. Well done, I will be back next time I’m through town.

I do all my shopping here. Prices are great, staff are always happy to help. Not much really to say about a grocery store, but there's nothing to complain about.

Great selection and prices

It has a modern clean bathroom and best of all a really knowledgeable woman who looks after their spring Garden Center who is a real big asset to the staff and management of Extra Foods in Grand Forks a real decent person. Extra Foods should give her a raise she is worth it being her 3rd Year there.

There is positives in many places I visit. The store is clean, I find most of management staff can be aproached to discuss items you want to order. Ther is more than you think about Loblaw's Extra Foods. Not taking the lime light for much of the local events or teams they gift/contribute to, the Owner-Operator does have a kind heart, but humblily does not show it nor does he get recognized for the positive given.

I don't love this place called Greenwood. I came here to look after my ex husband . He was a miner and a welder and all the smoke from the smoke from the machines have him Cpod . I think that the right spelling. Well we did consaimey our love for each other.It was wonderfull having him for awhile them two1/2 years later he died . Do you see this Greenwood took him from me.And all the people who he hired to learn how to get a occupation ,how to drive heavy excquiment. Like bulldozer,s and how to learn how to use explosion,s to blow up the rock that he taught how to drill, with a jakeleg
When he did all of them ., stabbed j in the back and robbed hm blind of all is tooles and machinery and compressed. Do now you know how I feel about Greenwood. And I don't reckamend you move here. They will robb you blind. Don't get me wrong there are wonderfull people here, but the one's who are between the she of 22 and up are crazy thives.
