I just did the advanced tour to the upper levels and it was the coolest experience I've had in a long time. If you're the type of person that likes hands-on, experiencing, exploring, climbing ladders, or un watered down tours then this is perfect. I learned a lot about early mining that I couldn't have learned any other way then being inside the mountain, exploring tunnels with a super knowledgeable and seasoned abandoned mine explorer who's been doing it his whole life.

This is an amazing experience if you’ve never been underground. You get a real feel for the conditions that miners worked in 100+ years ago. Definitely worth a visit . Wear good walking shoes and be prepared to get your feet a little wet and bring a sweater. The museum of artifacts found in the mines is also very interesting. Frank is incredibly knowledgeable and really explains things well. Tours are run throughout the day.

Frank and Sharon are great and friendly. Frank shared a wealth of information on the mine tour. It is well worth the money and an incredible unique experience. I would highly recommend checking it out and taking a tour.

I popped by when I was returning to Canada from a week trip in Washington, and to be able to get a tour and tour into history was awesome. Frank and Sharon were very welcoming and easy to going folks. I'm hoping to get back there again next year to see how much further along it has come.
I won't post many pictures, one needs to actually experience the tour and atmosphere

Frank is a great guide. The real deal. Top of the road is interesting but so worth it. Fun, historical, and a unique experience. I would wear shoes next time.

I travelled from Edmonton and took the tour with my friend from Proctor BC. Frank greeted us with a hearty smile. He wasted no time in presentation of the equipment displays. Sharon was busy still setting in place the myriad of displays within their collection. After a live engine run, we donned hard hats and into the mine we went. Frank and Sharon is every bit what you see on their channel. His knowledge and expertise are exceptional. Within the mine, there is water albeit not alot. That said,do NOT wear flip flops. Various displays are all along the mine.A square set is displayed along with a rebuilt ore chute.Way too much to list. i highly recommend you have a visit. Frank and Sharon are 2 of the most friendly, down to Earth people I have ever met. It was well worth the time to get there and will do so again in July with my wife. Congrats on displaying, explaining and preservation of our heritage in Western Canada for generation to come.

Frank was super informative, a great host with a good sense of humor.
He has great ideas for his museum and I can't wait to see what the future holds for the museum.
I recommend to anyone fascinated with old mining tools, methods and gemstones.

Easily the most detailed and the most interesting museum I’ve been to. So much time has been put into making an enjoyable and hands on experience, and it really shows. Thanks Frank for the incredible information and hospitality!

This place is AMAZING! He has an air-tram, ore carts, muck cars, old engines, rock drills and a great big ol' trained Miner's Cat that keeps the barking-spider population down.

I suggest you call well in advance, and schedule your visit for earlier in the day as you will want to get in before the riff raff!
