Dr J. Surkes

Dr. Surkes is was great with me. You may have to wait, but she takes her time and misses nothing.

Dr. Surkes is very thorough. I trust her with my heart. I am not in her office for a pleasant get together. It is business and she is good at her business.

Rude, Arrogant, Beligerant, Combative, Uncaring. Simply the worst so called doctor I have ever experienced. I was briefly trying to explain my symptoms when she put up her hand to silence me and said " I am the doctor, I will ask the relevant questions". Then when I advised that I had an event of Atrial Fibrillation 5 years previously, she actually said " No you did not. I have no record of it". One week later she said "Yes, I found the record", but no apology. My GP. actually said " I apologize for referring you to her. She is the worst". My final experience was waiting in her office for about an hour for a scheduled appointment. I thought it curious that I did not see or hear her. Then I overheard her receptionist talking with her on the telephone. I then asked "Is Dr. Surkes in this office". The reply "No, she's at the hospital, I don't know when she might be here". Done. Do not go to her, unless you enjoy being talked down to and treated with no respect or caring !

Dr Surkes is a rude and miserable woman. She leaves patients waiting literally for hours, talks down to them, belittles them, even raises her voice to them. When she did that to my mom, I told her right off. Not a chance, woman! We are PAYING YOUR WAGES!! Don't forget it! Surkes, if you are reading this, I strongly recommend therapy and anger management. I am not joking. Get down off of your high horse and knock it off. We are people just like you!!!

This lady is the most unpleasant medical professional I have ever dealt with.
I went in for a simple follow up on a minor heart issue, my previous doctor had cleared me as healthy, and the year prior as well. However one visit with this "medical professional" and I am now apparently waiting for 3 different medical tests none of which have anything to do with why I was there, and none of which have shown any issue with any other medical professionals I have seen.
She was very abrasive to deal with and talk to and talked in a manner as if to be superior to me.
This lady had the worst patient manner I have ever witnessed, if I had a heart attack, I imagine the first thing she would say is I told you so.
Please, if you have any issues with you heart or blood pressure, go to any other Doctor, because chances are, talking to this lady will make you heart beat harder and blood pressure rise.
