Pomeroy Inn & Suites at Olds College

This was our second stay at the hotel. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The rooms were super clean and the amenities are everything you could need. The breakfast room was great, lots of selection. Haven't tried the restaurant yet. Maybe next trip.

I'm a wheelchair user and I've stayed in numerous hotels throughout the province and my stay at the Pomeroy in Olds was one of the best stays I've had. The accessible room actually was. It was spacious and laid out so it was easy to maneuver around. The entire hotel was highly accessible. They even had proper accessible parking with access aisles so I didn't have to worry about my ramp being blocked. The staff were great. The breakfast room was above average. The restaurant was nice and very accommodating. Definitely where I'll be staying when I return in the spring.

Stayed here with the kids as we went to stampede wrestling. This hotel though higher on the price scale was great! Staff were freindly and kind, rooms were spacious with a nice layout. The continental breakfast was second to none. All in all it's a bit pricey but you do get more out of this hotel than any other standard one.

The location was perfect for accessing Olds College summer camps. The rooms were clean and the kitchen was perfect for cooking up small meals and keeping cold drinks available for the hot days! Hotel breakfast was great, pool was crystal clear and the kids loved the fast slide. Staff were friendly and helpful whenever we needed to ask for anything. I would highly recommend, especially for families!

We always choose Pomeroy hotels over any other hotel. The quality is always above and beyond, the staff and manager were super friendly and amazing, the continental breakfast was great and above average with quality extras added in, the pool was clean and the slide was great! There were lots of families here and we all got along great in the pool with the hotels overall friendly atmosphere. Olds was a great small town feel with all the amendities and lots of history close to Calgary and the mountains. The family run business feel of the Pomeroy is personal and way better than the typical big franchise cheapskate numbers game, we feel so welcome her and treated like family and not a number.

Absolutely a phenomenal location! I did an auction in one of the conference room, and was absolutely in awe at the great layout! Will be back for sure

I had a great experience at the olds Pomeroy, from really friendly staff that will take the extra step to help there guests from accomodating in anyway they can for breakfast time schedule to exceptional staff like Jory evening front desk agent to help and answer any questions you may have. Why the 4 star for location ? I wish it was more in the services area like grocery store.

Attended a ball on site, catering was amazing including the hot continental breakfast. Everyone that served us was a delight to speak to.

We had our entire wedding there and basically rented out the hotel. James (the manager) and Joseph (the banquet/catering manager) were absolutely wonderful to deal with throughout the last year. They are great communicators and they really helped make everything we wanted come together. They worked with our budgets and made sure that everything ran smoothly on the day of, even with last minute requests and changes.

The hotel has a beautiful ballroom, and the rental and food prices are amazing for what you get. The banquet kitchen staff did an exquisite job, every part of our dinner was perfectly cooked and tasted exceptional, and the hotel staff is so friendly!

The guest rooms are huge and well taken care of, very clean and comfy, and everyone loved the kitchenettes. The breakfast has lots of options, and they keep more food coming out the entire time. Highly recommend this place for an event or stay!

We were in Olds for a hockey tournament and this place easily gets 5 stars. Rooms were clean as were the bathrooms. The beds could do with replacing as the ones in our room kind of sagged towards the middle. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool area was clean and staff made sure there were towels ready at all times. Breakfast selection was amazing and the food was hot and if anyone went away hungry it was their own fault. Just Jacks was amazing but I will review that in a separate review.

I have a suite for 3 months there...it's a very nice hotel and quite...the breakfast is awesome..great location for me cause going to school..wonderful suites..and very friendlystaff..thank you to general manager...

I stayed here for just under a month and it felt like it was a home away from home. My room was fresh and clean during my entire stay. Breakfast is the morning was always hot and lots of options to choose from. The highlight of the hotel for me was Just Jacks Restaurant! What a gem! I'm a foodie and must say the food was Terrific! Over my time there I fell in love with the waiting staff, the service was incredible, friendly and amazing! Thanks for the fantastic experience Melanie, Deanna and Lindsay. I would definitely recommend this hotel and a part of your travels plans. They will not disappoint!

Staff good. Room is huge with good sized kitchen that I didn't use. I thought bathroom was a bit tight. Breakfast good. Parking and location good.

This is our second time staying at the Olds location. The rooms are spacious and very well appointed with microwave, fridge, stove, dishwasher and coffee maker. The beds are super comfortable as well. The hotel is beautifully maintained. The breakfast is the absolute best of any hotel hands down. The ladies who make breakfast happen are welcoming and the food is varied and tasty. All the staff are friendly and helpful.

We absolutely love this hotel! Every time we come to Alberta or British Columbia we look to stay at a Pomeroy hotel! If I just had one suggestion for corporate would be to fix the location map link on the website so we could view where all the Pomeroy lodging locations are located on a map. It would have saved me a lot of time in making reservations.
We absolutely love that the Pomeroy hotels are dog friendly but we especially loved that Pomeroy Olds had a restaurant on their property. This allowed us to order from the menu and they brought it up to the room for us. It was delicious and it was the first night that on our trip that we were able to able enjoy a relaxing full healthy sit down meal with our dogs.
My daughter gave the pool an A+. She had a blast on the water slide and it was great that the pool didn’t close too early.
I would recommend getting more luggage carts during checkout since they were all in use when we need them. Two more probably should suffice. It would also be nice to have those shower heads that change the flows of the water to get a more powerful stream of water.
It was great having the beds separated by a wall and having 2 TVs in the room so my daughter could watch something different than her parents.
Breakfast was delicious and had a great selection with real plates and silverware instead of plastic stuff! Keep up the great work and great customer service!

Extremely happy with the service experience. The staff accomadated our family on short notice. We came in from Saskatchewan and were able to check in an hour early. Friendly, excellent room, and great location. Anyone going to Olds and need a place to stay Pomeroy Inn & Suites is top notch.

Awesome motel! Great breakfast bar. The rooms are large and clean. Fourth floor facing north has a great view.

Nice place. We always stay with brands for points but on a long weekend when not much was available, we stopped here. It was beautiful decorated and updated. Loved the rooms. Fully equipped with kitchen necessities and such. Easy check in check out options and a nice free hot breakfast. Will definitely stay again.

Nice little hotel in Olds, Alberta. Rooms with kitchenettes are cozy and spacious. The bed is very comfortable. Front desk staff are friendly.

This only thing I can recommend for this hotel is it needs laundry facilities.
