Le Suroît Cycle et Ski

Years ago I went to this store to see if they could order a coaster wheel for my old bike. I went there because another bike store had acted very snobby with me for wanting a coaster, and I figured I'd try them out. They ordered the coaster, charged me a fair price for it, and seemed to have no judgment on what kind of bicycle I liked riding.
A couple of weeks ago I went back, this time with a more complicated bike. Mathieu, the technician, went through the options with me and I chose the "yearly" maintenance package. They said they would have it ready in two days, and they called me the next day to let me know I could pick it up. What I got back was a bike that had never looked so good since I bought it. It looked new and rode smoothly.
Whatever kind of bicycle you have, they will treat you well. Mathieu was very helpful in explaining what he had done, what needed to be done soon, what needed to be done later, and so on. They are a small store with a huge heart.

Over the years, as an avid cyclist, I have had to deal with a lot of bike shops. As far as the definition of “Customer Service” is concerned, I have no hesitation in saying that Le Suroit has lived up to, and in my opinion, embodies this (archaic?) concept. Regrettably, not many enterprises today, exhibit the same standard! Kudos again to Le Suroit!!!

The place is not just a bicycle shop or accessory shop.
These guys provide service, incomparable with anything I've seen so far.
I already used their services once, and today I had to bring my son's bike to fix a flat tire.
While some places like canadiantire told me they change tires only on Fridays. and I should leave the bike for a day at least, these guys grabbed the bike, and told me to wait outside. In 12-13 minutes I was asked to come inside and pay. It also costs nothing, for the service they provide.
Not to mention how friendly are they! You feel like you visited your cousin's place and had a quick chat.

Great products and service with no pressure to buy. Michel was a pro who provided us with knowledge of his products and ideas for the bikes we owned. So confident we felt that we brought our own bikes to him and he has a room where he spent time adjusting and fitting our bikes to our sizes.

Great store, great service, great owner. the shop has been there since I was a kid whenever I’m in town and need anything bike related I go to Le Suroît.

I sent an email regarding training wheels for my kids bike. He advised that I should confirm the bike can take training wheels before proceeding further. He let me send pics and he confirmed that the bike, in its config, will not be able to fit training wheels. Michel offered options on making adjustments to the bike with $$ value and also provided a 2ndary option for removing the pedals and use the bike as a push bike until my kid was able to balance better. At no time did Michel pressure me or try to use any type of tactic to get me to come in. Told me as it is. I have not yet visited the shop but I love the fact that Michel took the time, via email, and that type of dedication to your craft will have me in that shop this summer for anything bike related I will need. I have been really impressed by the service at this place. One time I needed a part for the chariot, that was hard to find. Eric actually built the part while I waited. Very impressive!
