Masstown Market

There are lots to see for home trinkets, and their plant sections is large and they have lots of great food options. You have to check out the fish and chips in the boat while you're there. Solid 10/10.

Lobe this place! The bakery and restaurant have phenomenal food and baked goods! Great deli with local meats and cheeses. Outstanding local fruits and vegetables. Really cool gift shop! And it has a NB Liquor outlet!

The bread, biscuits, and donuts are delicious. Worth the drive from Moncton, in my opinion. Also, I’ve never seen a fish and chip so big!! 🤓

Our travels from Halifax to Fredericton has many great stops, but this one is special as it’s a great place to buy seafood and fresh meat. You won’t be disappointed.

Must stop for anyone headed to Halifax etc. great seafood outside at the restaurant, great food inside, incredible local produce, bakery etc. Absolutely top notch!

This place is always a favourite stop, but typically is so overrun with customers I find it overwhelming. However, this last time, it wasn’t that way and even had available parking spots in front. The sad part is that this is 2020 and the year of COVID and the reasons I had a pleasant experience in the market isn’t as positive for the business. Hopefully the customers are still supporting it, even if they do mostly buy their food and leave with no lingering like before. The unique products and high quality this store provides is well worth the trip here.

So much to see. A great place to wander through. Got some great deals on plants and theres something for everyone. Great prices and lots of fresh produce. Good place to eat as well. One stop shopping.

Me & my Husband enjoyed the place, the chowder is yummy and so many ice cream flavors to choose… Will definitely come back!.☺☺☺

We are very lucky to have this farmers market so close to Truro. It is so unique, offers a wide range of products, and is in such a convenient stopping location along the side of the highway.

Awesome Market. It had everything you need in one place. Highly recommend a visit.

This is a must stop for those travelling between Truro and the North Shore/New Brunswick border. Incredible selection of local goods and products plus the fish and chips at the lighthouse are some of the best in the province. Pictures include the creamery and butcher shop which is across the street but part of the same complex.

I didn't purchase anything for myself here. The grandkids had an egg salad sandwich on freshly baked white bread they loved and grilled cheese on wheat. They drank beverages from the cooler and then bought home made ice cream. There is a bakery, deli, grocery store and two other parts I did not visit which was a gift store and seafood shoppe located in lighthouse. Worth a visit with something for everyone

I stop here every time I pass by. Outstanding market with fresh local produce, a liquour store, really great gift shop, ice cream parlor, bakery and deli. Definitely a place you must visit! Love Masstown Market!!

First time there and I couldn't believe how busy it was. I was blown away.
It was a little difficult to get around to see everything because of how busy it was, but we managed. Had just eaten a short time before going there so we didn't get a chance to try the restaurant. Next time I will make a point of trying it as the food looked good. Long line up for food so be prepared to wait a little bit.
Bought some fresh produce and bakery to take home.
Visited the lighthouse and went up to the top to see the great view. Bought some seafood to take home with us.

Bought Strawberries yesterday, 27 March, went to cut them up today, 28 March, and half of them were rotten in the container (black). Berries on top looked good. Rotten ones were discovered when top ones were removed.

Masstown market is a must If you're rolling through Nova Scotia! The selection of goods here is awesome! The staff are always friendly and fast. It can get very busy during peak seasons but the staff handle it very well. I always pop in on my way to my cottage in Pugwash to grab some sweets. Cannot say enough good things about Masstown Market!

I absolutely love this place despite how busy it is whenever I go. The kitchen area of the gift shop is always full of nice gadgets. The store has everything you might need to make a fresh local meal plus plenty of pantry items. I like the fresh local fish and meat selections. The produce is always bomb.

Always a great place to go for fresh fruits vegetables, or quick lunch/dinner, now with new very confortable seats and extremmely clean washrooms and well organized stores. The best ice cream and excellent customer service. Lots of parking and easy to get in and out quickly with very well design traffic flow. Will be going back again soon.

Love Masstown Market, excellent bakery, groceries, gift shop and liquor store. Always stop when traveling in NS. Make sure to cross the road to the creamery too,wonderful selection of goodies to be had.
