Moody Park

Moody Park is a nice experience with seniors and junior. Big field. Versatile games. Easy commute. Close to everywhere including elementary and secondary schools, walmart, save on, shopper drugmart, few gas bars, banks, and so on so forth. The parking is availble from everywhere. Tennis courts and outdoor pools are also available there

Moody Park is the single greatest thing about my neighbourhood. My apartment building is a little run down and old, but my neighbours are amazing and the park is right across the street with the friendliest people ever! And the the park is beautiful, ping-pong tables outdoor heated pool baseball diamonds batting cage lawn bowling exercise equipment youth center basketball court tennis court 😀 and on and on. The most amazing trees, if you wanna know a secret ask me about the family tree 😉, and alcohol is allowed. Truly its a wonderful place!

Nice and big park in New Westminster. Loads of activities for kids and all for adults as well. Even a separate play area for dogs. Table tennis, swing, slider, seesaw, water fountain for kids, football ground, swimming pools, basket ball and tennis court. Baseball ground as well. Also dawn till dusk washroom too.

Moody park just became one of my favorites parks to be at. I live around and I usually go there for doing exercise, having a picnic with my family or just to play around with my sister.
During the summer there is the outdoor pool which is amazing even though is not that big. If you are a resident of New Westminster you can register online for a membership or you can just pass by, pay your entrance fee and enjoy an aquafit class, swimming lessons or just hanging out around the pool.
In front of the pool there's the picnic area which is usually clean and you will find some people doing barbeques, it's awesome.
The location of the park is so convenient because crossing the street there is Walmart, save on foods, the white spot and Royal city mall. Also, the New Westminster public library is in front of the mall, which makes it even better. You could say that hanging around this area takes you more than one day. I love it.
And during the winter you can go and take some amazing pictures, especially where the clock is located.
It's such a nice pleasant place to enjoy that I have no doubt you will like it during any season of the year, especially on winter and summer time.

This is honestly a great place to go to spend an entire day with friends and family. It is awesome for having a picnic with your partner, doing exercise, give your pet a walk take your kids or just have some fresh air for yourself.
There's this area which has an outdoor pool which is very small but amazing for the summer time. The place has lifeguards and some aquafit classes which are so fun, I've tried some and it makes you feel so energetic at the end of the day. You can register online for this or you can walk by and ask for a membership pass.
The park is always nice and clean and there's a playground for kids, an entire space to have your pets without a leash and another area where the kids go and play football, they even do games in there.
And during the winter time, it is a great spot to take pictures, lots and lots of them, especially around the clock. That's what my sister and I did a couple of days ago when the city had so much snow.
The area will be always clean, so, I'll give 5/5 stars because everyone tries to keep the park clean.

It’s large park in the middle of New Westminster. Lots of paths to walk. There is an outdoor pool, which is popular.

Lots of space to run and play. There is also a playground for the younger kids.

There is also a dog park.

Drinking is allowed in a designated area on the south side of the park. The City has placed a few picnic tables here.

Nice little park with a lot packed into it: Trees, picnic tables, dog park, and play area for children with some water park features. Several playing fields for sports. There is also a public pool, tennis courts, lawn bowling and the Century House can be found on its parameters. Very busy on hot sunny days!

This is a great playground for kids of all ages. They will likely spend more than 30 minutes here swinging, making friends, playing on the sand, sliding down, spinning and running around, or letting the water flow out of the gates. There are plenty of benches for parents/guardians to sit and watch. Parking lot is close to the playground. Nice to have a washroom nearby and free city wifi.

Nice quiet park in the middle of new west. Playground is good for little kids. Basketball courts, tennis courts, baseball diamonds and a hockey/lacrosse box. Washrooms onsite. Close to food and drinks. Plenty of places to sit, and relax. Park is pretty quiet.

I loooove this park soo much and the memories I made their are unforgettable like using my first camera and taking nice photos or playing in the sunlight or painting with spray chalk also I love taking long walks in this park.

This is a great park ,right in the middle of New Westminster. There is alot going on in this park . A dog park for big dogs and one for small ones too ,a water park and playground ,several public washrooms, a pool ,lawn bowling club ,youth center ,seniors center ,basketball courts ,lacrosse box ,several baseball diamonds as well as several playing fields and lots of picnic area and it's close to everything!

This was a nostalgic place for me and its one of the best parks if ever gone to, it has a really good waterpark that works most of the year, it’s wheelchair accessible and it also has a big field and a forest beside it so the park is for everyone. I really recommend it for anyone who wants to have a good time outside.

Beautiful park to hangout with kids and family. Great picnic spot. Swings,seesaw, slide, water park and more things are there for the kids to enjoy.

Well maintained park, with baseball fields and outdoor pool. Nice area for all ages, to stroll around, walk your pets, throw a frisbee, or play a game with friends.

Excellent park with many places to practice sports and enjoy the day with family. There is also a public pool to practice swimming.

Moody park is an amazing park.
We have gone there to play freezbe and the last time we went to take some pictures for the snow because they have excellent spots for awesome pictures.
There are also place for tennis and ping pong. There is enough grass to play soccer or baseball.
Besides there is an outdoor pool for the summer so the school that is close there, the kids can go swimming after taking classes.
I have visited moody park and I have notice that people can sit on chairs, or there are swings for kids, also a basketball place.
After visiting moody park we can go to Walmart to buy stuff for home or for an ice cream on dairy queen which is very close to the park.
Moody park has place for dogs so you can unleash your dog on a safe area for him to be free.
I love moody park because has many different options to hang out with family or friends or photoshooting.
It has also place for parking if you plan to come from another place that is far away.
If you take the bus make sure to end up in 7th or 6th avenue which are the ones that leave you in moody park.

Great painted and flower murals and beautifully designed..first question asked a lot.. Where can i take my (bigger)dog for some play time off the leash and safe??. This is a great olace for the bigger dogs as its has its own Dog run. So big dogs are ok. Theres a great childrens park.. its a great quiet spot in the morning! A beautiful and now a favorite park .. like Granview Park on the Drive or Trout lake. Theres tennis courts! Baseball diamonds! A great big pool. Theres a lot more.. i need to do more wandering!

Nice place with several 1-stop recreational resources. Outstanding.

Lovely place to just sit in the sun in the morning. Beautiful spot as it's a green space that serves so many people living in the nearby apartments.
Close to shops, so you can get a DQ ice-cream then go for a stroll in the park.
There's a swimming pool for summer, and a community centre as well. Basketball courts, softball pitch/soccer pitch, playground for the little ones - something for everyone.

Nice park centrally located. Everything is well-kept. Decent size park with all outdoor amenities one could want in a medium sized park.
