Pamola Bakery & Deli

I discovered this place on Google search while looking for tres leches cake. I ordered the entire tres leches cake for my husband's birthday, and everyone loved it. It is a delightful sweet treat that you must try.

They serve both meals and desserts here. The beef taco we order looks small, but it turns out to be very tasty, which is full of smoke-flavored beef, onions, and corianders. The sauce for taco is also very delicious. The chive and Parmesan pastry we ordered look ordinary, but I like its rich butter flavor of the pastry itself.

I believe this is a Mexican small restaurant inside of the river market mall.
I went here with my husband because we were passing by and found out you can dine in. They got a couple of good stuff, especially variety when it comes to Mexican food. We saw in the menu tamales, molletes, enchiladas, tacos (singles ir by the package), homemade water (horchata and Jamaica), burritos and so on.
They also sell bread but the one which is very similar sold back home for example conchas, bolillo, telera (for making molletes) and some small cookies that can have flavours such as dulce de leche, chocolate or cinnamon.
My husband and I decided to have lunch here and we ordered one beef burrito (for him) and 3-tacos with a side of refried black beans and red rice.
The tacos I had were tinga, steak and cochinita. Honestly, the meal I had was good but it can be improved because the tinga had a strange res sauce flavour and the steak seemed a little too dry. The cochinita was my favorite taco because, for some reason, the red onion, was very well marinated and the sauce was not too spicy or dry, it's one of the best cochinita taco I've tried in Vancouver.
I also had a horchata water (which is red cinnamon sweet rice drink) and it was delicious, not too sweet but enough for me stop being thirsty.
I've been in better Mexican places but this one is not bad if you wanna give it a try.

Burritos my favorites dish here. Their fillings is so tasty. Prices are good too and there is always a good dessert after each meal.

Enchiladas ($11) was perfect with green spicy sauce! Chicken and tomato base filling were served hot, tasted super nice. All the baked goods looked super delicious will comeback to try them all

my coworkers have been buying the Tres Leches cake that’s supper yummy and to die for and to my surprise they also sell food. I tried the enchiladas and tortilla soup and was a 10/10. Only minus is paying for parking, other than that, highly recommended

Tres Leches cake is the best. Also tried the croissant and the Mexican bun, these were good too. Lots of fresh bread and Mexican food. Would go back for tres leches definitely.

I definitely love this place. We didn't want to cook, so we ordered an enchilada and tortilla soup. Great food!

Delicious pastry and the tacos are amazing, too - always hot and fresh. The pork has been my favourite. I have not been back for awhile, but I still remember they had a delicious tortilla soup. It was very filling, perfectly seasoned, and well-priced for the amount and quality of food. I would highly recommend trying lunch and dessert at this place!

The best tortilla soup and steak tacos I’ve had since I left Mexico. The conchas are superb, not even back in Mexico I’ve had a concha as good as here.

Pamola Bakery is one of the only places in New West to find really great bread, pastries, and many Mexican specialties. Their raisin bread is wonderful and the donuts are great! The horchata is a treat as well.

Amaaaazing bakery! Big portions, delicious flavour (fresh and homemade), great prices, and kind staff. Must-try: their burrito (ask to add side order of guac and sour cream in the burrito) $9.99 cad, cubano torta, tres leches cake, horchata juice $1.00 and any of their assortment of bread and pastries. Consistently good. Anything you try in their menu will impress you. Their fresh bread is outstanding and their pastries are 👌👌. Looove the tres leches cake! Would highly recommend.

This is the best Deli in New West for me, been here 3 days in a row. The sausage roll with oregano is my favourite! The oregano make it perfect smell and taste! The lava cake is superb....

The food here is great! I knew it was a bakery, but today was the first time I tried their menu of Mexican food for lunch. I had their Chicken Tostada, and it tasted very fresh and delicious. They are also very open to changes from the menu. I would highly suggest a stop at Pamola to order a meal, and take home some bread!

Delicious freshly baked breads, buns, croissants, cookies, cakes. Delicious meal options too. Today we got cheesecake and lava cake with chicken quesadilla. 😋😋😋

When I was there I just asked what kind of bread is it, and I think she was the owner or sth.
she has good patience and introduced the bread to me, and the bread so good, I will definitely visit there again!!!

Probably the best bakery in New West. Good selection of breads and buns, baked good, and hot food. I'm partial (too much so) to the ginger cookies myself.

Hands down one of the best cinnamon rolls I’ve ever had. Customer service was very friendly. I will be returning!

Good Apricot Walnut bread perfect croissants and friendly staff. Great chocolate fudge cake. Very clean and organized.
