Calmar Burger Bar

Single pack, I think it was called. 3 piece chicken and fries! I got gravy on the side. Best gravy, hands down. I absolutely love it!

Fresh cooked chicken, so the meal takes about 15 minutes to prepare! Absolutely worth the wait.

Old fashioned drive thru burger joint. Excellent food with lots of options. Always a stop for us on our way through.

Great little stop on the way home from the farm, simple traditional burgers, I had the Hawaiian burger loaded with pineapple and onions plus a kids small chocolate milkshake and shared an order of perfectly crispy fries!

Fantastic small town burger joint. Of you're passing through Calmar and feeling that burger itch, this is the place to stop.
The burgers are delicious (if you're unsure which one to go for I strongly recommend the Mozza Burger), the onion rings are hot and crisp, and the milkshakes are some of the best.
You definitely won't regret stopping here. Just be prepared to wait in line if you come at lunch because this place gets busy!!

We always stop in when we're headed thru Calmar. The best burger place around! Even better than burger baron.

First time there it is bright and clean fast friendly affordable service and food. The black licorice milkshake was awesome. Fed 2 youths and 3 adults for 65$ everyone was full.

Always amazing food and service. My mom and I always make sure to finish every drop of our gravy cause it's the best around (if we run out of fries we just use our finger as a spoon LOL)

5 stars. One of Alberta's hidden fast food gems. I have been coming here for quite awhile and have never been disappointed. The foods always amazing! Fresh and hot.
The green gravy is just plain awesome and has a nice kick to it ( assuming family recipe passed down through the generations ). Some like it, and some dont. But its definately worthy of trying. My go to is a double mushroom burger and I will pour some of that green gravy goodness on it to make it that much better if there is such a thing. The cheese has a nice, cooked, but not overdone texture to it and always ask for mozza cheese on the mushroom burger!
Their chicken is also amazing but just give them a heads up with an order of it. The milkshakes are great and they will let you mix flavors. They are family run and are always friendly and great to deal with. I'd rather eat here than alot of other places.
It's worth a trip to Calmar just for this place! I didnt grab pictures from todays visit, but next time I go I will.

Local, which is nice.. was disappointed with the deep fried mushrooms I had. Took a bite, hot outside frozen solid inside,must have came from the freezer?

Edit: Owners were quick with the reply, and more than happy to give me a new order on the house next visit.

Great burgers, fries and shakes!!! The pizza burger is amazing! Have been coming here for years, driving through on my way through Calmar and never disappointed! Not a quick stop, sometimes takes 15 to 20 minutes in the drive through if they are busy because they make everything to order. Totally worth the wait!

Heading west on Hyway 39 needed to eat.When entering the restaurant I could feel a real community.staff,customers were all awesome.I ordered a double cheese with rings.When I received my order I was pleasantly surprised on how good it was.The burger was huge and very delicious. Hats off to you Calmar. they represented your town %100. When I'm on my way through agian I'll stop agian and metion it to colleges that make that similar trip

Their food is always good. Its a nice family run restaurant. Their food is also always out fast and hot, unless your husband lies to you while picking up your food then rants about it. LOL. Support this business! Gems like this are disappearing.

Heard great things about this place and decided to give it a try, well worth the trip! The pizza and mushroom burgers my wife decided to try were both delicious along with their flavourful fries. We'll be sure to come hungrier next time and get some milkshakes to go along with our meals!

The budgets here were really good for the price. I've tried the mushroom and mozza burgers and both are delicious.
