Oh my goodness, I love this place. Their donuts are 🤤🤤 SO GOOD. I usually just get glazed, but they had sourdough glazed and they were also delicious. My husband loved the gingerbread. We lucked out getting some in the afternoon, but if you want to make sure you get some on the weekend, go early!

My friend and I have been there a few times or more and we absolutely LOVE it!! The glazed donuts are so soft and fresh, the cinnamon pull-a-parts are to die for, and the sausage rolls are THE best I have ever had! THE BEST bakery I've been to in central Alberta 😁😁😁

Donuts were amazing! Super fresh, amazing selection, I haven’t had donuts taste this good since I was a kid. They still taste fresh and are soft on day 3, it’s magic. Staff were super friendly answered all our questions and allergy concerns. Worth the road trip, will definitely be back next time I travel that way.

Thanks for the awesome donuts, we loved them.🍩 We also enjoyed them at family events as well. Can't wait to come back again and again. ❤ Also ate all the donuts we bought in two days, ok maybe 3 days but still so yummy. Can't wait to try the coffee/hot chocolate mugs.

These are our families favourite donuts. My wife loves the Apple fritters. The family that runs it are so nice. The prices are extremely reasonable. I’d recommend this bakery to anyone!!!!

Tried this bakery for the first time last weekend, after hearing about it for a while now. The shop was clean and organized, and the staff were quick, friendly, and cheerful . The line moved very quickly. The doughnuts are every bit as good as I had heard. I will be stopping in every time I'm in the area!!

Why get a few donuts for the family while visiting the Calmar Bakery when a dozen of brain/storming delicious donuts will transform you back to an era where the taste will put a “happiness smile” on everyone.

For those who think it is pricier than other places - why sacrifice a yummy donut’s quality over one being made with inferior ingredients.

Once you come here… you will be back!

Donuts are traditional style, yummy and so fresh. Recommend to go in the morning. There maybe lineup. One time we went around 1 pm and it's all sold out. We tried the chocolate chip cookies as well. Simple and tasty.

Stopped here to grab a dozen donuts and so happy I did! It seemed like it was lined up constantly and I can see why because the donuts are awesome! The staff were friendly and fast and their prices are very good for the quality! Would definitely recommend this place if your looking for some fresh baked, local, delicious goods.

I love this place. Never heard of it and my friend recommended it. The apple turnover is amazing! Can't wait to go back soon! The service was awesome too, lots of smiles!

Cute space. Friendly staff. All sorts of delicious goodies. Apple fritters were great, as were all donuts, fudge, and the tree trunk. Can't wait to go back.

Every time we drive by Calmar, we have to stop at Calmar Bakery. Such a wonderful place, from bread to treats. I fell in love with their Almond Fingers.

I drive 35 minutes to get these donuts from edmonton and I'll continue to do so until I die or they close down. They are amazing. The brownies are excellent too, as are the cinnamon buns. The only problem is I usually eat 6 or 7 donuts the day that I buy a dozen and then I want to die

Years later and I am still as hooked as ever. I don't recommend 5 donuts in a row with no other food though

Made a day out of shopping in Calmar from Edmonton. Stopped in at the Calmar bakery to sample their donuts, bread, cookies, and cinnamon rolls. You won't be disappointed! We enjoyed the old fashion glaze and sprinkle donuts. The bread was fresh and froze well. The staff were welcoming and friendly. I'd highly recommend.

All the glowing reviews still don't do this bakery justice, it's phenomenal. Well worth the drive to enjoy some incredibly delicious and fresh made treats and the adorable town of Calmar. No misses from anything we ordered everyone was a happy camper. Absolutely make a trip out.

If you haven't stopped in at the rare scratch bakery then your totally missing out , calmar bakery has been around for a long time we used to stop in and buy a dozen doughnuts each for our breakfast before heading out to build silos in the late 1970's , still the best ever , some days if your not in early enough they'll be sold out , I loved this bakery for decades hopefully more to come , thankyou !!

This is a wonderful bakery. The doughnuts are much better than at chain coffee shops and supermarkets. The pastries are flakey and sweet. The steady stream of customers I saw today is a broad vote of confidence. The new owners are enthusiastic.
