PAT Supermarket Mississauga

When I go to Korean grocery I usually go to Galleria. But I want to find new place so I went to here it was my first time. It's not carrying same product like Galleria. So it's new to me. And some products are like cheaper here.
They are carrying Korean, Japanese, Chinese products. I'll be back again.

Authentic Korean supermarket with a wonderful selection of hard to get Korean food and goods. Fantastic meat department with lots of shabu-shabu options. Huge aisle of Ramen. Jam-like tea, kimchi, gochujang, candies, rice-cakes, socks, tableware, cookware, ajumma hats and slippers. This place is practically a vacation.

I go there to buy vegetables and meat for preparing Asian dishes. I really like it, there is a large selection of goods, there are always discounts, there is always a large selection of fish, meat, and vegetables. There are goods from Southeast Asia and there is a restaurant with finished products

There are so many Chinese supermarkets around here but this one is Korean Supermarket. While their offerings may seem similar, there are differences. They dominate with items like kimchi, Napa cabbage, daikon radish, and large packs of green onions. They also offer various sliced meats.

The store's clean and orderly layout contrasts with Chinese markets. Additionally, it's a delight to find a wide selection of Japanese ingredients. A recent hit is the Tonkotdu soup, pork bone soup base for ramen, making it easy to prepare a satisfying meal at home with just noodles and toppings. I stock Shio and Soy sauce, but the pork bone soup base always runs out first.

Great Korean supermarket that carries food you won’t find in other places. There is an in store food court that you can have lunch after shopping. I like coming here for the prepared food, which is sometimes still warm when you buy it.

Best Korean/Asian market in Mississauga/Oakville. Way better selection than Galleria in Oakville. Owls Kimchi brand is the best . Has kitchenware, noodles, dumplings, etc and some different fresh take out counters

They have the best Korean soup rice in Mississauga, so much ingredients , I ordered the seafood Soon tofu, the shrimp and squid are big and meaty, my husband got a beef soup and it was so yummy too. Will go again!

Excellent selection of fruits, veggies and meats.

The fresh fish section must still be under construction and not opened yet, but as soon as that is ready this will be my go-to grocery store.

I love this little grocery store, it’s a Korean grocery store so I’m just happy about getting specialty items here and hot foods!

I was in town visiting my daughter and I decided to stop by as there are no Korean grocery stores around me and this place did not disappoint. I'm a huge fan of Korean food and follow the YouTuber Maangchi and her awesome homemade Korean food. I was looking everywhere for the clear corn syrup, radish, enoki mushroom, and large green onion. Picked up a few treats for the family. Will definitely go back. Very clean store and reasonably priced!

Love this place! Even with the language barrier, the staff are always nice and helpful

There's a new restaurant that opened up there recently, Manna... They sell Korean-Japanese street food, 8ncluding the famed Korean Corn Dogs-- plain or cheese-filled, covered in ramen, french fry bits, sweet potato bits, and my fave: ramen!

The taiyaki shop recently expanded its item selection-- they used to have a simple menu of red bean or custard taiyaki, and coal-roasted sweet potatoes, but now also have sweet breads, rice treats, and other small confectioneries.

A bakery is also on site, as of this moment it hasn't completely opened yet (they were putting up new signage when I was there earlier today)

Their fruit and vegetable selection is always massive and fresh-- I've never seen green onions look so good! Oranges are never bad here, and the prices are really affordable.

This review is solely based on the PAT Kimchi made at the Mississauga location.

To our surprise, the Kimchi made here is some of the best we had. The Kimchi was naturally sweet, crunchy, not too spicy, and fermented well.

We recently bought the same at the Thornhill location and it was night and day. It was one of the worst tasting Kimchi we had, way too salty without fermented notes.

Mississauga = amazing
Thornhill = inedible

If you want a taste of Asian cuisine, then this is the store you go to!

Another appeal to go here is the fresh taiyaki (custard and red bean flavours) by Kavin!

They also serve hot food now with a small seating area. What we tried:

Tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) - pretty good! They have a microwave you can use to warm it up.

Jjamppong (seafood noodle soup) - delicious!

1/2 Jjamppong + 1/2 Jjangmyun (black bean noodles) - both were delicious!!

Truly a gem! This store has far better selection of grocery items than the one in Downtown Toronto. You can find many unique items (e.g. mixed grains, Makgeolli kit) here that you will likely not be able to find elsewhere. Prices are definitely on the higher side, but their products are of high quality. Would highly recommend this store to anyone's into Korean/Japanese cooking.

I really liked this place. Never have I seen so much Chinese/ Japanese food and ingredients. It was actually really delightful. The chilled fish looked extremely fresh too. If you walk further to the left, you'll see this mini food court with some really delicious hot meal. It's like the Asian version of McDonald's, except healthier and with more selection.

Many Korean pantry and produce staples in one place. Seasonal veg is always fresh and I love to grab kimbap or one of the other prepared food items while I'm there. I go out of my way to shop here.

Great place to shop for Asian foods. After grocery shopping is done, I love getting food from the shops inside that sell hot foods.
