Country Charm Mennonite Furniture

My husband and I purchased the Blue Mountain bed from Country Charm Mennonite Furniture. We couldn't be happier. It fits our style perfectly and is the statement piece of our bedroom. We love to brag about where we bought it whenever we get the chance. Wayne Datema, the owner, and his staff were a pleasure to work with and delivered the bed in a timely manner. We would definitely buy from this store again!

We recently purchased a stunning live edge dining table and chairs from this store and are completely happy. The product is of exceptional quality and was finished exactly how we expected -they created a table from a live edge slab displayed in the store. What made the experience exceptional was the service. Right from the purchase through delivery every person was cheerful and helpful. Wayne helped us choose from a variety of table bases, delivery was exactly as scheduled, the delivery crew respected our house and even has slip covers on each chair through the delivery. We will defiantly be purchasing more items from Country Charm.

Really nice selection of real wood furniture, which can be custom ordered to size and desired stain. They also have many beautifully scented soy candles, which I am loving! Sales lady Courtney was a delight on both occasions that I dealt with her in person. She is not ‘pushy’, but definitely knowledgeable.

Purchased a new home, and needed several different furniture pieces for it. had been told about Country Charm from family members. Went into the show room, and was able to find what I needed very easily. Staff where very friendly and knowledgeable. In fact in the midst of waiting for the furniture to be made, came back to purchase additional pieces. When it came to delivery the product was delivered and moved to the spots in the home where indicated, within a professional manner. All pieces where found without any defects, and built to the highest quality. Prices for the furniture was a real bargain, as the build of the pieces are top notch. I would and will be advising anyone, who is looking for high quality furniture to take the time to visit Country Charm in Mississauga.

Just purchased a bedroom set from Country Charm and have been very happy with the whole process. It was delivered with care and I was shown how to remove drawers if necessary. We did have a small issue with one of the drawers so we called the Streetsville store (where we bought it) and Wayne (the owner) came to our house and fixed it and gave me some background info on the designer/builder from Lucknow. Looking forward to enjoying the pieces for many years.

Beautiful furniture pieces!!

Seemingly well crafted furniture. However, it is not ALL "Mennonite" furniture. The office furniture is from US company and I question the origins of the barnboard furniture. This all leads me to ask, "How much of the furniture is actually Mennonite?" Thisbaside, it does appear to be well built and the prices are reasonable. If you are looking for truly Mennonite built furniture, ASK if the piece you are considering actually was Mennonite built. I give it a lower rating, due purely to its slightly to potentially entirely, misleading title of Mennonite, when some of the furniture is actually built by a boutique type factory in Wayne County, Ohio, USA.

I purchased a set of 6 chairs from this establishment in 2016. I had ordered the chairs in both a dork and light stain as recommended by a member of the staff. Originally when I went to pick up the chairs they had forgotten to do the dark stain. The proprietor kindly offered to add the stain and deliver to our home at no charge. Upon delivery the dark stain in areas had chips in the stain. Immediately I was given a grease pencil to do touch ups. It was implied that this would not be an issue however over time this became a horrible issue. My family was at the time under a great deal of stress dealing with a very sick member. I had wanted to contact the shop years ago and sadly I just did not make the time. I recently reached out to the store having found material that allowed me to make contact. Sadly I was told that this was normal wear and tear. This absolutely is in no way normal. I simply asked if they could remove the dark stain as the blond stain or natural colour of the wood has no wear at all. It would seem that there was an issue with their dark stain. I was told Country Charm does not do refinishing and on further inquiry for places I could turn to to finally repair the chairs they responded with no answer. I am so sorry I made this purchase in the first place and wish I had gone with my gut when the chairs were first delivered already bearing tell tale chips and I was offered a grease pencil to resolve it.
