Kate's Town Talk Bakery

Really quaint cafe in the heart of Streetsville. Their butter tarts are quite delicious and there were so many flavours to choose from! We appreciated the finishing touch, with the tarts that we tried having a slightly torched finished top. The tart pastry was rich and buttery too. They also over mini tart options (think two bite size). If you are looking for your best butter tart in the GTA, you should check this out!

While it was their butter tarts that drew me into visiting, their lunch menu also caught my attention. I ended up ordering a lunch combo - around $11-$12 for a pie and soup and drink/dessert option. The carrot ginger soup was made in house and the beef pie was filling. I was told the sandwiches are amazing so I will revisit in the near future.

Quick and friendly service; cozy sitting space.

This place was a wonderful find. I was in the neighborhood and passed by this shop many times, but this time I was compelled to go in.
Friendly staff. They provided great recommendations. The classic butter tart was perfect! The Nutella raspberry was good but on the sweeter side for me. The Toblerone shortbread cookie was awesome. Love the creativity of the cherry pie shortbread. I'm definitely coming back to try the other ones!
Oh I had also gotten a sausage roll. It was a good size and had a great pastry shell but the meat filling was on the lighter side of flavor. Still a great place to stop in for a bite or even a coffee! Ps love all the cool looking teapots.

I come here maybe 1-2x a week. Their baked goods, sandwiches and drinks are all great and the staff are nice. Highly recommend if you're in the area. My favourites are the banana bread with chocolate icing and the raspberry cheesecake (in the picture). Store has some seating too so a good place for breakfast, brunch or lunch.

I LOVE everything about this amazing bakery, especially the butter tarts! It's my favorite in Streetsville! I wish there are new locations in Erin Mills and Square One someday. It's a 10/10!

First visit at Kate’s Town Talk Bakery. Ordered 12 scones. Made to perfection and fresh. Staff friendly and accommodating. Needed 6 sconces per box no problem . Must visit when in Streetsville, will definitely be back to try the tarts.

I love this bakery! Always worth the visit. The food (especially my favourite cookies!), friendly service and charming setting never fail to lift my spirits.

i go here almost every week!! love the sandwiches combos and as a student very good pricing. THEIR GINGER COOKIES ARE TO DIE FOR. only problem is that they get really busy but not their fault so understandable LOVE LOVE

This place is like a bakery out of a hallmark movie! The baked goods are absolutely delicious. A favourite way to spend my Saturday morning, with a coffee and a scon!

Just WOW. I've lived close to Kate's Bakery for years now and the fact today was my first time visiting I've been absolutely missing out. I got an egg salad sandwich (amazing, also huge portion for the price), a couple of butter tarts, cookies and an iced chai latte.

Can confirm these cookies and tarts are nothing like I've ever had in my life. And the drink? Beyond anything I've ever had at a chain like Starbucks. The staff member who made my drink was new but you could easily tell she wanted to make it absolutely perfect for me (which she did - thank you again!).

Honestly I wish I took a photo to show in this review but they were gone within minutes of the first bite.

Such an amazing gem in Streetsville and the prices? For the quality of food and drinks I'm shocked - so affordable.

If you go to Kate's trust me you'll end up becoming a regular because it's THAT good.

Loved this place. It’s a very friendly cute coffeeshop. The butter tarts are the best ever. You somehow get the feeling of being in the original village!

What a find. First time for me and a friend to meet up for a coffee. Small, cozy, delicious cookies and other treats. Just a wonderful atmosphere, and I'm sure a favorite among the locals. Left with cookies in hand and can't wait to visit again.

I hosted a baby shower at Kate's. The food (quiche, spinach salad, and scones) was picture perfect and delicious! Kate's desserts are amazing - the butter tarts are a must! It's obvious that this bakery genuinely cares and takes pride in what they do. Kate, thank you so much for making the day so special.

This is a small hidden gem in the heart of Streetsville, Mississauga. The tarts are amazing, some of the best we've ever had. Highly recommend.

You have to stop in here. The raspberry cheesecake brownie is amazing. This place is perfect. Great baked goods and coffee.

It's a nice little bakery to grab some cookies and butter tarts and more. When we went some of the stuff was sold out so make sure to get there earlier rather than later!
