The Rescue Ranch Thrift Boutique and Grooming

In response to Kierra and Al's 'negative review', Embrace would just like to let the public know that sometimes people like to slander a really hardworking rescue simply because they don't get their own way. This couple dropped a kitten off at our adoption centre asking for their money back because the kitten had been sick for over a month. We did return the kitten adoption fee to them and then brought the kitten to the vet and paid for surgery as the kitten had a prolapsed bowel after the adopters had admitted to changing the brands of cat food 5-6 times. (The feeding instructions are clearly laid out at time of adoption) After this sweet little guy slowly began to recover, the couple suggested we give the kitten back to them and we declined their request, we began to notice several social media posts by this couple informing our followers that we had 'stolen' their kitten. This could not be further from the truth and we find all dealings with the couple very disappointing and bewildering.

First visit to this little shop and I fell in love! I definitely could have spent more time there but the husband was patiently waiting in the car! I will definitely be back

Found some great chew toys and dog supplies and good prices! The person working was very nice.

It took Leslie 2 years to spin this story. All emails, text messages, and even audio clips I still have (including conversations with petsmart), as well as many messages and conversations from other individuals who adopted one of her sick animals and ended up having very bad encounters with this society. FYI The food was changed twice (one of which Leslie herself informed me to change - this I have photo evidence of). @Leslie, I’m glad to hear the surgery worked, as I was told by you yourself that it likely would never work and the vets were pushing procedures that were unnecessary (this too I have photo evidence of). To adopters of embrace, be aware there is a contract (one of which I never saw, signed, or was given despite asking numerous times) that states Embrace holds superior ownership for the pets entire life. Petsmart also confirmed that no such contract existed at the time of adoption.

I would like to point out that the positive reviews from Kay and Ralph are friends/family of the owner…I would not believe those reviews. Also let it be known that Petsmart Victoria does not do adoptions through Embrace anymore, because of Leslie and the problems adopting through her have caused.

If Leslie Fee runs this place I would NOT come here. This lady is a total liar con artist who will steal your pet back any chance she gets!

Been by half a dozen times. Always closed. Website says open but, it hasn't been.
