Fritz Road Hiking And Biking Trails

Great network of trails in this area, well groomed, sign posted and colour coded. we started on the farther end from the bridge which was a longer walk to the summit US/Canada border but the incline was less and nice forested area. Suitable for those with kids, our 5 and 2 yo were able to do it with us. the township has done a great job, kudos.

great hike location, well made single track trails. steep traverses mix of sun and shade it was a hot day for us. Well mapped and marked trails, really appreciated the effort people have put into this trail network. As a cyclist the trails I was on were challenging X-country style trails not for ripp'n downhillers ( I only walked 7km with family, there were more trails I didn't see)

Fun trail network and great views. Keep speed down on the tight side hills if your on your bike.

Great hiking trails!

Hiked up to the flag pole, took over an hour up, but a great view.

Well sign-posted with lots of choices. Some of the trails are narrow and there are steep drop-offs along one side so maybe not for the faint of heart. Trails are in good shape. The views are good, if not spectacular, and there are some very nice shady trails. It's fun being able to straddle the US/Canada border. We almost never totally escaped road noise, unfortunately - the reason we did not give it five stars.

I read the alltrails reviews and wish I'd read this site as I was surprised by the steep drop off and nearly got stuck just from fear. But I agree with all who say this is the best-marked, most accurately and helpfully signposted trail network I've been on. Excellent job. Just beware the perimeter (red) trail if heights are an issue....
