She is the most caring vet! And so affordable. Very fortunate to have her taking care of our community pets! Best ever.

We had to make the unfortunate decision to euthanize our cat of 18-years. We couldn't have asked for more caring and sensitive experience than what we received from Dr. Carlson and her staff. Dr Carlson arranged for us to come to the clinic at the end of the day after she had dismissed all the rest of her clients, and then took great chair making the process as peaceful and gentle as possible. Her fees were more than reasonable. I highly recommended Blaine Animal Hospital.

Chris, Val and staff are the most kind and wonderful people out there. I have been taking my cats and dog there for about 6 years now. She truly cares for all the animals. What I love about her is no question is a silly or stupid question for her. When in go in to get flea medicine she asks is everyone okay puppy kittys? Everyone is good? I have been able to bring in my cat many time to see Chris in an emergency. He is a repeat offender of fighting with the raccoons. I wouldn't feel comfortable trusting my fur babies with anyone other than her. I'm very thankful for Chris, Val and staff. Not to mention her prices are very affordable. I highly recommend The Blaine Animal Hospital to anyone in need of a vet. Once you go there you won't want to go anywhere else❤

Took 2 (1 for moral support and socialize when he doesn’t see the vet) of my 3 fur babies (2 dogs, 1 cat) to see Dr. Chris for the 1st time. Dr. Chris was kind, thorough, and attentive with my 11 YO dog! The staff were friendly and professional! I am grateful we have found a new and local vet for my fur babies!

I love this vet. She is so loving and compassionate. My cat has a new lease on life because Christine was up on the very latest treatment for his medical issues. He is 20 years old and feeling so much better. I also boarded him there and he loved his penthouse condo. He got a lot of love and attention, which he loved.

The staff here is VERY kind and VERY sweet to our loved furry friends! They are very informative and when a problem arose like it did for us and it was outside their testing abilities they had a specialist lined up to see our fur-ball quickly. Hands down would recommend this as a great place to treat your animals!

I have been taking my pets to see Dr. Chris for many years. She is always compassionate and is very knowledgeable. She has a calming way about her that both my pets and I respond to. I trust her completely to have our best interests at heart.

All of my encounters with blaine animal hospital have been amazing. Dr Kris and her wonderful support staff are so kind and knowledgeable you know you are getting the best care. In this age of covid restrictions when income is so tight they have a no nonsense approach that is refreshing and reassuring. And most importantly, my cat loves them and is the healthiest cat I've ever owned because of them.

I have never had my cat go to a vet without hissing, screeching, or planting himself firmly into his carrier. However, coming here was the most amazing experience for both myself and for him. He purred and walked around and got to know Christine the vet very well and never once hissed. The vet was very thorough, kind, and patient, and even willing to help others in the waiting room between clients. I will never go to another vet in whatcom county again!

If I was selfish I would keep this jewel to myself but being a lover of animals I need to really sing Chris and her staff, praises. They are compassionate, caring and Dr. Chris is amazing with my furry loves who tend to be nervous when confronting a vet office. We highly recommend this dedicated group that make up Blaine Animal Hospital.

Absolutely the best !!! Staff and Dr. Chris are great, love animals, know their stuff, and very reasonable ! Country environment, country doc (I find they are the best) was quoted $1000 for dental cleaning on Vancouver Island !!!! Dr. Chris did it & bloodwork for $200... which is what I was used to. They care about giving your pet the best care possible, not lining their pockets with your money ! Highly recommend Blaine Animal Hospital! No wonder Canadians are crossing the border to see Dr. Chris !!!

Dr Carlson is the best. Never have I seen a vet who gets on the floor to talk to an animal. She loves my cat and dog and our family truly love her. Amazing person and exceptional vet.Danny and Debi
