These guys are great! My bike had issues yesterday but after reading all the reviews of different places in my area, I wasn't feeling comfortable to bring my bike to them. I am glad I waited the extra day. These guys are very sweet and considerate. They do a job quick, when possible, and they are honest. I love those qualities in people. Highly recommend them! Thanks Sweet Pete's! 🥰

Amazing customer service at great prices. Brought my bike in to get serviced for the first time, and was expecting to have to pay quite a bit to get the issue fixed. The staff there where honest about thinking they could get it done without going that far, and they did. Overall, I will definitely be going back for future tune-ups and repairs.

Brought a wheel/tire in here I had endless troubles with flats on. I got some help from another store in town (shall not be named) and they gave me inappropriate rim strips that were causing the flats. Guys in the shop here were super friendly and diagnosed the issue quickly and got me back up and running with a tubeless setup. Highly recommend!

Today I went because my brake was not working properly. The worker there immediately found out the issue. The issue was tiny and takes 2 seconds to fix it, so the worker fixed the issue in 2 seconds. He did not take advantage of my gullibility and ask me to book an appointment and pay a lot of money for the fix. This is the right thing to do, and I am glad that this store is operating like this. I will get my bike fixed there next time I have a real issue.

Sweet Pete’s is an amazing and reliable bike shop! I have been in a few times this summer for minor repairs, and the staff are quick to help, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. Recently I was having an issue with clicking while pedalling, and I brought my bike in to be looked at (and expecting to have to leave it overnight). Adam (one of the repair guys) quickly ruled out the problem and not only did I get the repair done right then and there, they also tightened my bottom bracket! It feels like my bike is good as new. I would highly recommend anyone needing anything from bike repairs to help picking out a new saddle to go to Sweet Pete’s - they’re the best!

Outstanding staff and customer service!

I went to the Annex location to have my rear derailleur adjusted and was provided with quick and efficient service by a mechanic named Luke. He even took the time to show me how to adjust the barrel adjuster and limit screws as well as answer my other questions.

The sales staff is also great. I was assisted by Claire and Brent on numerous occasions and they are both very knowledgeable, friendly and patient. Truly, a classy shop!

I brought my old MTB into for service, which I was now using for commuting. I was really disappointed with the result. The next day, it squeaked, the chain rubbed weirdly, the brakes were loud... They made it right, and they did it on the weekend. My first impression was terrible, but since then it has been great.

My next service (same bike) turned up a frame defect. My bike was essentially unusable. But it was under warranty (17 years after purchase... Gary Fisher / Trek), and as a Trek dealer, they handled the warranty processing. They also pulled off the new parts they’d put on prior to discovering the frame problem, and didn’t charge me. I now have a much nicer bike than I did before, for an incremental cost. Adam, Brent, and the staff at both locations were really helpful in the process.

Just left the store. Very friendly staff!
I dropped off my bike and was told to pickup the next day, but since I went for beer next door, I went back to shop for accessories.

Staff told me that they completed my repairs and my bike was ready! Just wow!

Even more amazing, I told them that I wasn't able to take it immediately because I was going a long distance and it was highly unlikely that I'd be back the following day even.
Staff told me that they have a large storage space and it's totally cool until next week. So cool!

I'll definitely be back here for all my future repairs and servicing.

I spend money where staff are efficient, courteous and friendly.

This was my first time at this location and Adam was very friendly. After having gotten my bike serviced a few months ago I heard a noise from the tire and he fixed it in 5 min. Pete if you have employee of the month; Adam is best in class and does an amazing job from a customer service and satisfaction perspective.

The service at this location was great. I asked to see the Brooklyn Bedford 7 2018 bike at this location because the Sweet Pete’s website said that it was available/in-stock. It wasn’t assembled, but they offered to assemble it the same day which was great for me because I really wanted to test the bike out, since I was very interested in buying it. After buying the bike (after going for a test ride, of course) the staff member who completed the purchase also set up the first tune-up appointment for me. He also informed me that any service done on the bike was free for a certain period of time. I didn’t feel pressured into buying anything by the sales staff as well, which was great. The selection of bikes at this location was also pretty good, as they had road bikes, mountain bikes, urban bikes, etc. at this location. Overall, I had a really good experience at this location.

I had the most amazing experience at Sweet Pete's. I drove 2 hours to Toronto and I'm so glad they were my first stop on our list of bike places. I am a 5'0 female cyclist and finding a suitable adult bike is impossible back home. I started at one of their Bloor locations and got great help, but didn't quite find the right bike. So they called over to their other Bloor location and sent me there, saying to ask for Sam. And Sam was *amazing*. She sent me around the block a few times on different bikes, listening to my feedback on what I liked/didn't like, and made suggestions. I liked the handle gears on one bike but the body of a different bike and off she went to speak to the mechanic and yes they could order them for me and install them. I went home very happy with my new bike and went out riding on Centre Island the next day and had a great time.
Thank you!!

Confused and in over your head with bike questions? I was. I’d purchased a women’s road bike (elsewhere in B.C.) midwinter, rode it indoors on a trainer, and recently needed to address some beginner questions as I readied for my debut outdoor season. I also needed to address fit, a possible warrantee, and suspicious noise.

Rob and Louis were extraordinary insightful, patient, professional, and kind. Not only did they take plenty of time with me to go over my concerns, but they made sure at every step I could ask additional questions. They guided but never pushed and took the approach that my trust was more important than a sale. A follow up email also was in my inbox without delay.

Their follow up was exceedingly kind and speedy. I appreciated that they made their language accessible to this beginner. Furthermore, I had some specific questions as a female athlete doing heavy triathlon training on a female bike - they had great insights. (This is painfully rare.)

Road cycling is overwhelming to start as an adult, and I am eternally grateful to Rob & Louis. They are top shelf ambassadors for Sweet Pete’s. I’m certain their wealth of knowledge and customer service skills is just a sampling of a really great costumer care culture at the shop.

Such incredible customer service! Adam was so excited to answer every question I had about my bike maintenance and work that needed to be done. Helped me figure out a plan for my bike that fits my needs and was super patient. Will definitely be coming here for every yearly tune-up. Recommend 100%

Sweet Pete's has been my go-to bike shop in the neighbourhood. I purchased a bike from them last year and was pleased with the recommendations and patience I received from them during that purchase. They allowed me to ride the bike multiple times, on multiple days, just to ensure that the fit and feel was right. There was no pressure, and no judgement. They listened to my needs and price point. Their one-year new bike program, which is free, also saved me a ton of money when it came time for tune-ups and service.

Since then, I've also taken in my bike and my partner's bike(s) for additional service. The service techs are fast, competent and efficient. Just this past week, during COVID, their techs were able to turn around my and my partner's bike in one day, and that's with a ton of work on my partner's bike.

I have always had positive experiences in the shop. I would highly recommend these guys, as even occasional cyclists like myself, are made to feel comfortable and welcome.

Moved down the street from them a couple years back and they quickly became my "go to" bike shop. Professional, knowledgeable, and friendly service. Honest work, never have I got the feeling they were using my lack of mechanical knowledge against me. They recognize me now. I walked in a week ago as my rear brake pads were constantly rubbing on my disk. The mechanic stopped what he was going, took 45 seconds to adjust, and sent on my way. "Keep coming back" was all he expected for his 45 seconds of help.

This is now my go to bike shop. After getting in contact regarding some frustration with recent work done on my bike at the shop, they offered to look at my bike again and went absolutely above and beyond with their response. The time they took to address my concerns was truly appreciated and I was genuinely shocked and touched at how much they cared about remedying the situation. Great service and care for bikes and customers!

Very friendly and great customer service. I love that they have women on staff as well! Sweet Pete's is a very welcoming environment for all types of cyclists. I'm happy to go back for support and advice, along with whatever else I might need to pick up. You should definitely check them out.

Best bike shop in the city! In a time when all bike shops are backed up to the max, I thought I would try my luck as I needed a minor fix. Adam was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He was very knowledgeable but more than that, he went over and above to take the time to explain exactly what the issue was, gave me advice on how to avoid the issue, and taught me a few things about my bike. There are a lot of intricate details when fixing a bike, and some of my questions may have seemed novice, but Adam didn't make me feel that way at all. Thank you Adam, I will definitely be recommending this shop to anyone looking for a bike or a repair!

My first time dealing with Sweet Pete's was an absolutely treat! Online order placed, prepped and hand-delivered in under 24 hrs... far above and beyond my expectations! What an amazing customer experience! I'm a very delighted customer, and can't wait to shop with them again!

Great service.

I wanted to get a rear rack for my bike and the employee kindly showed my the various options and the pros and cons of each rack.

Also some excellent inquisitive questions that helped me with an unrelated issue!
