Battle River Train Excursions

Enjoyed a wonderful trip with my wife for our anniversary. The "Shake off winter" was amazing! We boarded in Kelsey, and had a tasty lunch on the ride down to Forestburg. We took a short walk to the community center, where we were very entertained by Curtain Call Theater's performance of "The Play that Goes Wrong". Dessert was delicious, and the scenic return trip was nice.
If you're reading this, then you are already considering a trip. Do it. You'll be glad you did. We will be on another trip soon.

My mom and I had soooo much fun on the Haunted Train excursion; I highly recommend them!! :) The storyteller Bethany had people hanging on her every word and set the mood for our Halloween trip. Just a wonderful lady. The meal at the train station in Forestburg was absolutely perfect and fun for Halloween. The volunteers put their heart and soul into these trips and go the extra mile to make sure every everyone has a great time. I can't wait to go on a different trip for 2020.

It was a great experience. The whole day was fun.The play was hilarious. Those homemade desserts were a perfect ending.

My wife and I went on the Farm to Fork excursion from Kelsey to Forestburg and really enjoyed it.
The weather was great for us so we were able to spend much of the trip on the "observation car" listening to the staff point out the sights and mingling with other attendees with some stops along the way at a leisurely speed.
Once we reached Forestburg we got a tour of the Elevators, a refreshment at the saloon, and then an extremely flavourful meal.
Afterwards we stayed in the passenger car for the more speedy return.

Went on the murder mystery train ride and it was a great evening. Definitely recommend any of their excursions.

Was so much fun to take a train ride & be entertained.
