Diplomat Trout Pond

We stopped for a BBQ dinner at the day use park. We actually ended up at the campground, not realizing the day use area was on the other side of the pond. No one camping at the camp ground so we just pulled into a spot for an hour. Very nice campground. Maybe 10 large grassy sites, spaced out enough to have privacy, very clean and well taken care of. Pit toilet. Nice little pond, apparently stocked with tiger trout (a cross between brook trout and brown trout). We saw a pelican and a heron on the pond, which was something different for us. All in all, a very pleasant stop.

a nice place to fish and relax. There are platforms to fish from and an easy grassy slope to the pond. Camping is reasonable at $15 a night and free firewood is available. There are no designate camping sites--you just pick a spot between the trees or right on the shore. We love to go here for a few days relaxation.

Lovely little campground with a nice trout pond stocked with rainbow trout and tiger trout.. fantastic well kept place , will definitely make many more trips here.

Great little trout pond. Stocked yearly. Always seem to catch a couple. Stocked last year with some 2 pounders.

Well kept campground, clean toilets, unfortunately the fish weren't biting.

Had a nice trout on
