Plumbing & Heating Paramedics

Had a pretty bad failure of my hot water tank this morning, no hot water in the house and water gushing out of the tank into my basement. I called 9 different 24/7 plumbers, most of which were going to be 1-2 days out to get to my house. 3 said they likely could today but their emergency call costs were fairly high or there was no guarantee they’d actually make it. Andrew from plumbing and heating paramedics was the fastest to get there and the pricing was really reasonable. He did a great job on the installation and fixed a few other issues from when the house was built. I would absolutely use them again, but hopefully I don’t need to.

Andrew and Mike have been at our home to replace poly b and main water valve. On all visits they were personable, respected us and our home. They explained all procedures and reasons for their completion. The work carried out was excellent as evidenced by the comments from the city inspector, drywall repair company and the meter install individuals.

This company is amazing!! Starting with our call because we had a plugged toilet, no amount of plunging would fix. I believe the lady taking the on call calls over Christmas was Anna, such a friendly lady, asked all the right questions, very friendly and had an appointment booked for us for the next morning. We had a couple questions before the plumber was going to be at the house and they were answered promptly. Then we received our text right at 8AM saying Nick was on his way. They also sent information introducing us to Nick on a bit of a personal side. He arrived when we were told he would. Nick is one of the most professional, friendly and dedicated employees we have had the pleasure of meeting. He explained everything he was going to do and why, he gave us options to choose from and was not pushing us to make any decisions without time to consider them. He is very personable, and I felt we had known him for longer than just a couple hours. The job was completed in a timely matter. One thing I was very impressed with was the fact that they have their own carpet to place inside the front door as to not muck up the floors!! Thank you, Nick, Anna and Plumbing Paramedics for a job well done and for going the extra mile to make us feel like we mattered and our situation was important to you.

This company is great! They have one of the most efficient booking systems I have ever dealt with. As a landlord, scheduling services for properties can be a lot of work but Plumbing and Heating Paramedics makes sure everything goes smoothly. Mike and all the other staff I have met have been friendly and professional, highly recommend!

This was my first experience with Plumbing & Heating Paramedics and it was a good one! Had a elbow pretty much explode on a poly b pipe and water was a flowing! Of course this is at 5:00 on a Saturday. Made the call and started with a super friendly call and had someone here in just over 1 hour.
Great communication as to when I should see the tech via SMS (including a picture of the tech)
So Nicholas H showed up and was SUPER friendly, professional, and informative as to what needs to be done.
Had to cut a section out of the ceiling about 12" x 36" to access the pipes. After the job was completed you would not even know anything had gone on in the bathroom, Nicholas totally had everything cleaned up! (of course except for the hole in the ceiling ha. ha)
I have them coming back this Monday for a FREE estimate on replacing all the poly -b.

Mike was excellent coming to my house for my annual furnace & hot water tank check-up. I also had a new kitchen tap installed and gave me some general tips. Very knowledgable, friendly and prompt!

Called in for some rust issue with furnace and was able to get an appointment on the same day. Theo & another person were very friendly and efficient. Theo took the time to explain everything to me, and showed me where the issues were (which I didn’t get from another company). They also did leave the job site clean once done! Very happy with their service!

Kawal and Spence, who installed our new furnace from Plumbing and Heating Paramedics, were great - friendly, helpful and informative. After installation, an issue cropped up due to the construction of our house. Kawal came back and even though he and his colleagues, including the manufacturer of the part, had never seen the issue before, he was able to resolve the situation to our satisfaction. Very impressive.

We have Heating and Plumbing Paramedics came to our house to replace our Furnace, Water Tank, and also add an AC for the upper floor. We are also so happy, thankful and excited that we won one set of furnace and AC via a contest from the company.

Our house has two furnace so replace the other one at the same time as well as the water tank make sense.

When we decide what brand to use for the furnace , we go with the GE modulating model for the Furnace and it has an 98% efficient and amazing warranty in labor and parts. The AC is also GE with same warranty.

We have our kitchen stove range in GE all our lives with good reliability and durability and prior not really knowing that it also does Furnace and AC so that give us confidence to give that a try.

We all so far satisfied with the temperature consistency and comfort of the house. My wife noticed that at night the temperature is more consistent throughout and the air breath better with the thicker filters. The AC will definitely help with the inconsistence heat wave that we experience now in Calgary. The Wifi Honeywell Thermometer also works well for each floor and I can manage the system away from home on my phone.

We also have a new water tank. From 2 to 1 for the four of us. The old ones despite two sometimes still have to wait between showers but have not found that to be case with the new one. The water tank is Bradford White and it also comes with great warranty.

The electrican and technician are both great and complete the job thoughtfully and seamlessly. Like the location of AC behinds french door, holder underneath each furnance, cleanliness and visually appeasing… etc.

Price-wise, are also very reasonable when compares to other energy efficiency brands and models. The company also offers a good membership and financial program.

Everything passed City Inspections and now our house is up to speed for being much more energy efficient.

Second time using Plumbing & Heating Paramedics. And again want to say fantastic service from a local company. Nick was friendly, professional and great with a dog in the house as well. I can say that when my next job needs to be done I will be calling again as they seem to go that extra step to make sure the job is done right.

Nick dropped by twice - once to inspect the plumbing, then to service an on-demand water heater. It was due in large part to Nick’s pleasant, personable and informative nature that we subsequently ordered a new furnace from PPs as well. Kawal and Spence did an excellent job of installing the furnace, and they were also terrific people. I feel fortunate to have found this company. Great work.

Andrew replaced a waterline that was leaking...then installed a Smart Shut Off valve a few days. He did a great job and had a very good attitude. Excellent!

Theo was great. He did a furnace inspection and explained everything and made sure I understood. And because I'm a member, it was free. The membership is worth it.

I also had Andrew and Robin in and the replaced 2 toilets, put a valve in, and a pressure tank. They were also great and quick. It was all installed much quicker than I thought it would take.

Theo and Mike were very professional and explained the cost and policies up front. They took photos of the parts that needed to be replaced on our furnace so that we were aware of the problems and gave up cost options. It was done quick and efficiently. Very happy with their service

Andrew from Plumbing and Heating Paramedics was awesome. Very professional, explained options we had to clear our plugged sink. He made sure the clogged sink was clear and running.
As part of their service they checked all sinks and toilets in the house to ensure there were no problems.

We had an emergency situation where water was gushing out of the main valve in our furnace room and it starting to flood with water. I called 6 different plumbers and no tech was available immediately. Luckily the receptionist at Plumbing & Heating Paramedics was helpful and said they could send someone between 2-3 hrs, i booked as there was no choice and no one else was available. I got a text within 30 mins and said the tech was on his way. The tech Andrew was friendly and super knowledgeable. We had the city come shut off the main water supply for 20 mins while Andrew could replace the pipes and the problem. We are super happy with the results and will definitely call again if we have any other problems in the future! Totally recommend them!

Theo and Mike were awesome. Showed up on time, answered my questions and made sure I understood how everything worked on my new furnace and water tank. My older models were over 25 years old and a definite change from what I was used to. They were very professional and efficient in fixing my concern which turned out to be minor in the end. I will be using plumbing paramedics in the future for sure. Very pleased. I highly recommend them.

Andrew was amazing! Hero of the day! Came in right away was extremely knowledgeable about what happened and how to prevent further issues. Will definitely be calling them first if we have issues ever again!
