Cineplex Cinemas Empress Walk

I love this location! Super clean, not crowded like other cineplexes, and staff are friendly. The options for snacks are pretty good and overall I highly recommend this location.

It's not a busy location, and the service is excellent. They genuinely do an excellent job! A little costly, but that's to be expected from a movie theatre. Amazing cleanliness in such a lovely setting.

Compared to other cineplexes around the city, this seems like a cute little spot. Went there late and didn’t find any trouble ordering food and attending the theater. Place is super easy to maneuver seeing the numbers on top and the staff before it. Staff there were friendly and engaging for us and overall the place was good. Would come back again.

There is IMAX. Comfortable and not many ppl even on Tuesday. They open late to buy tickets. I went to a bank instead of waiting. However, You can go to second cup or Wendy's and LCBO lol

Very friendly staff at this cinema! The concession stand, the ticket podium, and the clean up staff after the movie finished were all very polite. Screen and sound of the movie were perfect and bathroom was clean.

It's one of most convenient movie theaters in North York, located right at Noryh York Center station. There are dollarama, loblaws, second cup so you can bring your own snacks and save money instead of buying snacks from concession stand which is way over priced. they also have 3 hours free parking so you got covered for 1 movie.

This Cineplex is one of my favorites most likely because of convenience. It’s located right on North York station for TTC and it has a big parking lot that is free up to 3 hours if you watch a movie.
The quality of the movies is of course standardized across Cineplex, depending on the scale of theatre (ie IMAX, 3D, etc), so I’m basing this off of other factors. The employees there are all quite friendly and approachable.
As an additional benefit, it’s located inside a mall/plaza, including a Loblaws, so you can take care of other businesses before or after your movie.

Would visit again for sure.

I'd strongly recommend the IMAX hall! Heart-pounding audio combined with crystal clear images on the largest screens take you beyond the standard cinema experience.

This Cineplex is very convenient. The subway station is right beneath the building and they also have basement parking. Although it is at the top, you can easily ride an elevator or walk on a unique stairwell. Their theatre is clean and not too crowded. Ordering food was easy breezy, very clean counters and fairly organized. Butter outside the counter, along with ketchup and stuff is a plus for me. If you want other food or snacks, a grocery store is just floors below. We would love to come back here when we get to shop up North.

At first I was a little worried that maybe this cineplex may not be as good as I expect of a good cinema, cause I saw reviews of other cineplex cinemas in toronto that people said those place were not clean or chairs were uncomfortable, with little legroom, but it was the opposite in here. I got a good vibe from the moment I reached the mall, it was easy to navigate and loved the cinema saloon itself; All the staff were friendly and courteous, and the seats were comfortable for me with long legs, for the released movie I watched the place was not crowded, we were only 10,15 people and the situation was ideal.
Also there were fun gaming amenties on the same floor and other good stores at the mall if you want to shop afterward.

Cineplex is Cineplex. You go there to see movies, and that's what you get: movies (and popcorn if your pockets run deep). I do like this specific location because of their IMAX theatres, which are relatively infrequent. It's very close to public transit (subway). The staff is nice and welcoming (the ones I interacted with at least!). The theatre I was in was very clean, and it was overall a good experience.

This place has an amazing aura and vibe.. its all in one place.. be it entertainment, grocery, banking .. doctors .. salon .. restaurants .. !! Ideal shopping place

This is going to be a review of this specific Cineplex, not Cineplex as a company. In my opinion, this location is tops. This isn’t the biggest Cineplex (there are only 10 theatres), but it does have IMAX, party rooms, and a little arcade overlooking Yonge street. What is amazing about this location is that it is rarely super busy. You can actually go see a movie on an opening night and not worry about getting a seat. This alone makes it number one in my eyes. The theatre itself is also pretty neat. There is a huge escalator that will take you to the theatre and big windows you can eat by and look out at Yonge street and Mel Lastman Square.

Absolutely impeccable this movie theater is both clean and safe. I felt like I was at home watching Wonka. I highly recommend this ciniplex Location.

Went for a birthday party and saw the Minions movie. Wasn't that busy inside and we had a whole row reserved for us. Afterwards we stuck around and played in the arcade area. Air Hockey is always a great game to play and for $20 you get 75 tokens which last a while.

This is my favorite go-to theater because it's generally quieter and I love that it has free underground parking which helps to avoid the outside elements. It's also a newer theater so it's cleaner and seats are a bit more comfy. Highly recommend this location.

Nice movie theatre with the usual food concessions. Well maintained auditoriums with offerings like IMAX and Dbox. Being inside the Empress mall has the advantage of easy access to the subway line and plenty of options for a bite after the movie.

This Cineplex is at a great location as Empress Walk is connected to North York Centre Station.There are few flight of escalators to climb up there though.
I watches Deadpool 2 in IMAX here .The screen was bigger than any Cineplex i have been to in Toronto.I have been searching for a big screen cinema hall like this ever since i came here.The seats are pretty comfortable as well.I recommend to anyone who wants a mega screen and big hall.It does not look big in the attached photo in my review as i was in the back but it is better than others.

It was a great theatre located inside a mall and the staff were all really polite and helpful. The seats were clean and I had a great time watching my movie!
