I have been a loyal client at Haven for over two years, entrusting Evan and Luxe with my haircuts, color corrections, and balayage. Most recently, I had the pleasure of scheduling a full head balayage session with Luxe, in addition to a root shadow, full head coloring, and an Olaplex treatment.

My hair type presents a challenge due to its coarse texture and thickness, but it also had remnants of red color that proved stubborn to remove. Luxe’s approach was both transparent and honest, she couldn't guarantee the red will be completely gone. She patiently and gently worked on removing the red tones which included a neutralizing process with a turquoise color to ensure my hair was ready for the transformation I desired.

What truly impressed me was Luxe’s introduction of a new product, a gentle colour remover that does not contain sulfate(?). She suggested we try it on my hair, emphasizing Haven’s commitment to top-quality products. This attention to detail reflects how much they care about their clients’ satisfaction. Moreover, Evan goes beyond the ordinary. He delves into the mechanics and technology behind each product, ensuring they deliver exceptional results. This salon doesn't just use any product.

As someone who has undergone multiple hair processes, I appreciate a product that is both gentle and effective. At Haven, achieving platinum blonde for my Asian hair was possible in just one session—a feat that would typically require multiple visits elsewhere. The red undertone is still there but toned down into a beautiful ash.

I’ve attached photos—one capturing Luxe meticulously trimming my hair, and the other taken after two washes. Remarkably, the color has maintained its beauty, defying the usual fading trend. Luxe, I cannot thank you enough!

Lastly, Haven’s team of stylists operates like a well-oiled machine. They support each other, with Sharon’s efficiency standing out. I never worry about the outcome because I wholeheartedly trust the talented stylists at Haven. Consider me a forever client.

An establishment such as a hair salon's key feature to gaining a customers trust and loyalty, is without a doubt their consistency in their service. Which is why I am posting a review after my third visit. I am very strict about my hair and the style that I want it to turn out. I have been to different places but it wasnt quite what I wanted but in the three times I came here, my hair turned out to my liking every time.

To begin with, their website is extensive and informative. I went through their information, team members, different services, and eventually I booked my appointment for a short haircut with Julia. I got to the salon and as soon I entered I was greeted very warmly and I felt very welcomed as a new customer.

The layout of the unit is well done and pratical. Seating area in addition to a coat hanger right at the entrance, beside the reception desk. Then the salon lobby and at the end hair washing stations. I received a very in depth consultation about what haircut I want, what the hairstylist Julia suggested, what the proposed haircut would look on me, etc. Evan (one of the founders) was also present in the consultation which made me not only feel extra welcome and valued as a customer, but also displayed the team's friendliness and professionalism.

After we came to a decision, Julia washed my hair and got started on the haircut. I was very surprised that a complete hairwash and blowdry was included in their service. Julia was clearly highly skilled and trained. She was very kind and checked up on me and the status (whether its satisfactory or not) of the cut periodically. She was also very patient with my questions and gave me detailed answers and information, while also keeping me in the loop of the progress of the haircut throughout the different steps.

Each time I come here my experience is nothing short of amazing and I am highly satisfied with their consistency in providing high quality service. Thank you!

I'm so happy I found Haven! I really needed a haircut, which I'd been putting off for months since my last (awful) experience elsewhere. I have curly hair so I have had my share of bad cuts. Finally I decided to book with Julia and I'm so glad I did. She took the time to understand what I was looking for and gave suggestions where I needed them. She was super meticulous and took her time to ensure everything was perfect. The cut I came out with was exactly what I needed so this will definitely be my go to place from now on! I’ve been coming to Luxe for a couple years, and she always does a wonderful job.
She does exactly what I look for when I come for a cut and makes sure I am completely happy before walking out. I find it really helpful that she takes the time show show me different ways of styling with my new cut and layers as well just as an extra bit of advice. Bonus, her head massages make me melt.

I love Haven! I had lost track of Evan but am so glad we reconnected here! Haven's atmosphere is comfortable and inviting, and the staff is warm, knowledgeable and friendly. I'm never intimidated or scared to ask questions, and I'm always treated to the best products and styling techniques for my hair—making for a salon experience that leaves me feeling like a million $$$. Plus, I get great book recommendations!!

I came to Luxe today for my first haircut ever in Canada, and it was great. I was a bit nervous about trying a new style, but it turned out amazing. I showed her some photos of the hairstyle I wanted, and she provided honest feedback on what would suit me best. I appreciate that she took the time to help me find a better style before cutting. She actually gave me a better haircut than what I initially wanted. The experience was pleasant overall, and Luxe was so friendly and fun to chat with. She gave me some great styling and maintenance tips and I felt that she genuinely cared about my hair. Highly recommend her services!

I've been going here regularly to get my haircut since I was introduced by my friend. The staff is very kind and friendly, taking that extra step to make each visit feel special. Personally I'd recommend Luxe, she's been my go to! Professional, incredibly skilled, and delivers every time. From touch-ups to trying new styles she's got you!

I went in initially for a hair cut and perm for wavy hair with Luxe. She is very professional and is honest with what will be best for your hair while balancing what the clients want- I was extremely happy with the end result! The haircut was exactly what I wanted! She's the only hair stylist that told me that I didn't need a perm because I already had natural waves (side note- I've suspected I had wavy hair for a while but I tried SO many wavy and curly hair style tutorials and none of them worked- it would dry completely straight). Instead of further damaging my hair with a perm, she taught me how to style it (worked so well!) and gave my hair treatments to make the hair healthier.

Just received my second cut from Julia, she is a master of her craft! She once again took the time to understand what i was looking for, what I liked and disliked about my current haircut, and gave great suggestions to enhance the look such as layering and texturizing. She takes her time and shows great attention to detail in efforts to produce the perfect hair cut!

If you have curly hair do yourself a favour, and book an appointment with her, she truly is an expert in curly hair!

I went to Haven for the first time today and I felt compelled to leave a review. My experience was absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend this salon.

I made an appointment to have my roots touched up and a blow out with Evan. Evan was amazing. He took the time to talk to me and figure out exactly what I was looking for. He even adjusted the appointment on the fly to a root and refresh to make sure I had the best experience possible. I was impressed with his attention to detail and honestly it was just a fun appointment! The atmosphere in the salon was friendly and welcoming.

I am absolutely in love with my colour and the blow out was perfect as well.

All in all, an easy 5 star review for a 5 star experience.

From the moment I walked in, Caitlin was so welcoming and friendly. I love how personalized the service was. She made me feel so comfortable. And, she did an OUTSTANDING job with my hair and my topper. She is a true professional - her skills, experience, and creativity - which is why I've changed to her as my new stylist.

This was by far the best salon experience I have ever had. Evan turned my hair from red with a large brown roots to beautiful golden blonde locks perfect for the fall weather and something I can grow out, which I requested. Amazing to work with, extremely kind and good vibe all around.

As a returning customer at Haven Salon, I absolutely love my experience each time. After a string of bad experiences at other salons (more length taken off than discussed during haircuts, heat damage while styling, lack of experience with curly hair, etc…) I am beyond happy to have found Haven. Evan listens patiently, thoughtfully consults with me about what he plans to do, checks in with me throughout the process, and gives me useful haircare tips along the way! I always feel at ease here knowing I’m in good (and very skilled) hands - highly recommend :)

I had an event and didn’t feel like styling my own hair so I booked a last minute appt with Sharon. She was incredible and quite the professional! I told her I needed my hair to last the night so she did her magic and it lasted all night (and it’s still in great condition today). I was complimented all night on my hair, so thanks to Sharon! :) can’t wait to touch up my hair in a couple of weeks at this salon.

Brought my teen daughter to see Caitlin for a haircut and her hair looks amazing! Caitlin really takes the time and adds that personal touch. The appointment did not feel rushed. My daughter absolutely loves her haircut. We’ll be back!

I recently visited Haven Salon and had the pleasure of getting a haircut from Evan. The experience was amazing—Evan's attention to detail and care during the haircut stood out. He not only provided a great haircut but also recommended products tailored to my hair, enhancing the overall experience. Highly recommended!

Caitlin is absolutely amazing at styling and coloring hair. I drive 50 minutes each way once a week to get my hair blow dried by her. I have very think, kinky, curly and dry hair, but she can smooth it out like silk, taking her time by doing small section of hair at a time and really smoothing each piece out. She also can put waves or locks on my hair all with the round brush, without using the curling iron which is super damaging.

I have been seeing Caitlin for a while now and cannot express how amazing she is at doing hair, especially colouring. Her attention to detail and making sure every step of the way that everything is perfect for you. I am always left extremely happy with the results, honestly she nails it every time. I highly recommend Caitlin to anyone, she is extremely kind, artistic, and amazing at what she does!
