The Big Apple Petting Zoo

I absolutely adore The Big Apple's Petting Zoo. Whenever you stop here you got to go and see the animals! There are so many of them! Birds and the fluffy friends! You can feed them, you can pet them, or you can just watch them. You wont be disapointed, really helps to relax you on a long trip.

If any issues with animals we just need to contact the Big Apple crew . We have like sheeps , rabbits , goats

And mostly we have 🦙 lamas . That’s incredible and it’s my first time watching a lama in real. Such a lovely creature.

It’s right next to big Apple . There will be many tourist ppl coming through and it’s fun . It’s recommended on your way to Toronto or back to Montreal is a must stop spot

Great experience with the family. There are hand washing stations near the entrance/exit. There are feed dispensers spread throughout for the different animals that are clearly labeled for which ones. Be sure to have quarters and loonies handy as the dispensers are akin to candy/toy dispensers. Otherwise you will need to take a quick walk to one of the cashiers inside or one of the food trucks to get change. When we visited in July some of the animal enclosures were being worked on so we figure there would be more animals or different varieties for our next visit.

The kids enjoyed feeding the animals and taking pictures on the benches. It is a must to stop here if you are heading East from the GTA especially with children. It is free you just pay $1 to feed the animals.

Many animals, rabbits, ducks, geese, chickens, guinea fowl, turkeys, sheep, goats, a donkey and a pony. The animals appear to be happy, healthy, and well-kept in large enclosures. Our toddlers absolutely loved this as a rest stop.

A variety of animals on site which all appeared to be well cared for.
A very nice spot for family to take a break. Animal feed dispensers throughout as well as hand sanitizer.

Worth the place for a visit.. you can have lunch, do some petting and play golf and do some shopping to get some exceptional  bread and many more things..

Worlds biggest  attraction as well.. have some change for petting

Always a great stop if you’re in Colbourne or simply stopping by to buy pie! The zoo itself is small but was interesting enough for us to spend about a half hour-45 minutes at. There were a variety of animals there with our favourites being the llama, the alpaca, the turkey and the goats. Such a cute & free spot!

They have really upgraded the place outside in amazing with so much to see and do especially for the little ones it's a must stop place.

Must stop here if you are on the road. Clean facilities with great food and games. Nice people and cute little petting zoo. Bring change to feed some animals!

Nice little self served zoo which has a variety farm animals to watch and feed.

Love the pies you can buy there,all different kinds. Good place to get souvenirs as well.

Kids love this place. Had lots of fun last year. Its not open during winter -understandably!
