I was in need of a "new" used vehicle, as my 24 year old car had too many problems. A friend put me in touch with JR and Ocho and together they worked with me to find the car that best suited my needs/wants and fit my budget! They were so incredibly kind and friendly. My husband and I drove 2.5 hours yesterday to test drive, sign all the paperwork, and come home with our new CX-9! Josh was a all star salesman, getting us started ahead of time so we could do it all in one day, answering any question we could throw at him, and his knowledge about everything in the vehicle was fantastic. Martin in finance went above and beyond, getting us top coverage without going over our budget. Would 100% recommend if you’re looking to get into something safe, reliable, and budget friendly while also being a lot of fun!

I had a wonderful experience purchasing a pre-owned vehicle from Josh at Island Owl Mazda. I texted in the morning and received a response right away to book a road test for 2 hours later. Josh was friendly and knowledgeable and made the whole process extremely smooth. Five stars!

JR provided a well informed, no pressured shopping experience. He found me the perfect car. He worked hard with Ben and the banks to make sure I got it within budget. I've had my Rav 4 for a number of years and I still recommend JR to everyone that will listen. If I ever need a new car I will be going back to JR without a second thought.

I would say at Island Owl Mazda they don't treat you like a customer they treat you as one of their own as family, part of the island owl family. The customer service is far above this 5 star rating. The coffee is great too

Owl Mazda staff took care of our concern to do a diagnostic test on our parking break system this past Friday, March 22nd. They provided a courtesy car for us while the car was being serviced. Our car was washed for us as well.
We had a good experience and would definitely recommend Owl Mazda to any owners of Mazda vehicles on Vancouver Island.

This dealership, and especially Ben, did so much to get me into a vehicle that met my very particular needs. From the initial consultation to delivery of my vehicle, everything was top notch. Thanks again, I feel so much safer!

Island Owl took a stressful situation and created an easy and calm solution. JR listened to what our needs were, took my frazzled stressed out wife and steered her in the right direction. Dana took our wants into consideration and their financing department made sure our requests for flexibility were Included in our options. JR and Ocho even went as far as to make sure the wife was mobile while waiting for approvals etc. Hot off of my major oral surgery they walked us through the final steps in a matter of a couple hours! Having our family ride break down before we were ready to say goodbye to it was hard and frustrating, buying a new and practical family ride from island owl was easy and rewarding.

I bought an inexpensive used car from Island Owl Mazda and got treated as if I had bought a brand new one. Josh, the sales representative, was patient and kind (as well as being a fellow animal lover with pictures), and took the time to answer every question I had to the best of his ability. The company had done a thorough BCAA equivalent safety check before the car was sold and I was shown the results. All deficiencies had been repaired by Island Owl Mazda. I was also given a car fax that showed that the car had been very well taken car of. The sales manager and Josh went so far as to send me a short hilarious video due to a comment I made. All in all a great experience and dealership!

Everyone at this dealership goes out of their way to make your experience fantastic, and they don't forget you after you purchase. We bought a truck in summer of 2022 and had a few issues that were not related to the dealership (stupid deer!!!!!) but they still helped us out as much as they could and made a stressful time a little more bearable. I'll always recommend Island Owl Mazda to everyone.

I have been on the lookout for a dodge challenger for the last year was not in a rush to buy as I was
wanting to make sure I was 100 percent what model year. but saw a 2022 challenger rt being sold by owl mazda 2 days before xmas and the deal was incredible. 8k less than the nearest comparison. I called them expecting a difficult transaction living in the okanagan and the dealership was in Campbell river. I called and talked to Josh. he answered all my questions and sent me all the information I could possibly require. great guy to deal with. negotiated a deal and passed to the general Manger we finalized the deal. Ben was always available to work out final details. unbelievable to deal with even over the holidays. overall best dealership transaction I have ever encountered. I would give 6 stars if I could.

Josh and Ocho made my car buying experience so effortless, easy and fun. When my old Mazda starting running into issues I really wasn’t looking forward to having to replace my vehicle as cars aren’t my forte and I was afraid if I went to a dealership I might get taken advantage of. At Island owl Mazda it couldn’t have been further from the truth. Josh called me around 3pm on a Saturday afternoon and 30 mins later I was at the dealership & 4 hours later I was driving off the lot with a new to me Mazda! They helped me sort out my financing and worked with me to meet me where I was at and even helped take care of my old Mazda so I didn’t have to do anything asides from pass them off the key. I seriously can’t recommend these guys enough. Not once did I feel taken advantage of and they helped lift a huge weight off my shoulders. I even had fun and left feeling excited.

We brought our minivan to Island Owl and it actually needed a part that is not made anymore. Tyler from parts was very helpful and informative.
Our son is non/verbal special needs and actually really loves our minivan, so we were hoping to get it back.
Some time passed and I thought maybe we may not get our Van back. Tyler called to give me updates regularly. One of the conservations with him, he told me he was putting positive vibes out there for us and that really meant a lot to me. I was then hopeful.
Tyler found the part and in perfect timing as our son is about to start school in February. Our son was so happy to have our Van back, he wanted to go out joy riding right away :)
Tyler went above and beyond and I truly appreciate him very much.
