Sobeys - Lacombe

Sobeys Lacombe catered our lunch for 40 people and glowing reviews from everyone! The Spinach Salad was a favourite for sure and the entertaining trays are large portions. We got wraps, rainbow veggie tray, fruit kabobs, spinach salad, and dessert bar tray. Fresh, well presented, and very well received. And the staff were amazing and super helpful. Great job Sobeys!

Best staff ever. I go in all if the time with my little one and everyone is always so sweet and friendly to us. So many times I forget something and someone working there will shoot over quickly and get me whatever it is I forgot in seconds. The ladies over in the bakery are so kind to my little one and the baked goods are amazing!! (Especially anything chocolaty as theres is thicker and more flavorful than most places) honestly every section of the store rocks. The boys over in the meat section are nice and help me with meal ideas, the ladies over in the deli area rock too and i love the daily salads. Cashiers are always beaming with positivity and are very efficient. And the shelve stockers will go out of their way to notice you have a lot of items and will find you a cart or basket aswell as help you find items and carry them for you to the till. I love this place (obviously since i had to stop myself from ranting lol) I honestly wish i worked there since it seems like the staff are like family and it would be a great atmosphere. Anyways, i hope they all keep up the good work and know they are doing awesome!!!

Small town grocery stores are great. Being from the east coast seeing a Sobeys that's where we stopped. We chatted with the meat manager for 20 minutes and the cuts of steak (top sirloin cap off) riviled any butcher shop I've been too. Cashiers are very friendly. We wanted to buy all the local leaf lettuce we could get and taken it home.

Great family owned Sobeys you don’t see anymore. Joe the owner has really brought this store back to life & brought in great products to customers like me with speciality requests. Gluten free. Vegan.

Staff are so helpful on multiple occasions!! Once I was looking for an ingredient and the grocery guy went and retrieved it, and then proceeded to find me in another aisle to give it to me. Today a man from the produce walked across the store to give us a box for our moving. Such great service!

Although the prices are generally higher that other grocery stores, the staff, meat and produce make it worth the trip. If you shop on the sale cycles, you get the great service and good deals. Air miles are a bonus.

Visited this store on July 14, 2016 was my BEST customer service experience to date, from the moment we walked in the door to stepping out everyone was happy, helpful and beyond charming. THANK YOU.

Sobey's Lacombe is a lovely store. Friendly, courteous and knowledgeable staff! I was able to get everything we needed for the next few days of our camping trip. Thank you we will come again!

Walking into the store passed by father & son talking to each other & overheard one saying "the cashier was really kind & helpful" I agree. They have really good employees. Very helpful.
