Always was my go-to place in Calgary and now my reliable stop-n-go burger/fries/milkshake place in Red Deer.
Super yummy milkshakes, fresh cut fries and the infamous burgers. Fast friendly service with clean eating area and washrooms. Live the dream: Eat at or drive through Peter's Drive-In.

I have been going to Peter's on 16th since 1975. I am glad to see a location in Red Deer for trips north. It's nice to see the consistency at this location. The burgers are the same as the originals, and the milkshakes are thick and flavorful. One hint is I never order a double burger because the single is 1 and a half patties.

Possibly the best options out there compared to those franchisees! Real potatoes and that milky deliciousness of milkshake! Highly recommended during your travel between Calgary and Edmonton!

Stopped in for a milkshake, service was friendly, the milkshake was creamy. I got the chocolate banana and my wife got the licorice. Both good. I've been to the Calgary location but this was my first time to the Red Deer one.

Great value, the burgers are tasty and filling. The family size fries are HUGE! Good onion rings. Expect a bit of a wait depending on the day/time as this place is very popular! Has a nostalgic feel.

Great atmosphere, welcoming to literally all kinds of people. We still talk about my friend's experience at this restaurant 4 years later. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good time.

Amazing! My first time at Peter's and it was fantastic! Definitely a must visit if you are in the area! Wish we had one in Ottawa!

Amazing burger joint! The fries are fresh, they don't start frying them until you order. Burger was good and cheesy. I grabbed the onion rings just to try them out. I like big thick onion rings, these are thinner, but every one is an actual onion. Nothing fake about these. I'm a big eater and I got the triple and regular fries, prefect. They have fresh peach juice and lemonade. These places are very few and far between.

Mother in law and I had a veggie burger with cheese, and shared an order of onion rings. First time having any kind of burger from here, and it was pretty good. Definitely black bean heavy, but not in a bad way, well seasoned, fully cooked and pretty tasty. As always, rings were freaking delightful. Always my favorite place to stop on my way back from Peace River, and the milkshakes are awesome. (Even though I didn't have one last night, I usually get a raspberry marshmallow shake)

Visiting from Toronto, I am so happy we stopped in here for lunch. The place was nice and bright, as well as very clean. The staff were so friendly, and work really fast. Their service was super. The food was just as good, and for the price, even better!

The onion rings are so good and the portion size is massive. Highly recommend!

Very similar seasoned food at Calgary location. Good burgers and onion rings. We ask for well-done onion rings and it came out very good. This location have a lot of sitting area inside and outside.

First time visiting. Nice and enjoyable dinning place. Although a patty seems a bit fake/artificial, but its been around so long that it feels right.

I personally love their poutine. Its very rich and fattening but it comes up in your mind once in a while.

Peter’s is a must every time I’m in red deer. Even if it’s just for a quick stop for a milkshake. So many options of flavours.

The nostalgia of Peter's hasn't worn off. Growing up, everytime we travelled through Calgary, we would stop at Peter's for burgers, fries and milkshakes. This is not a gourmet burger joint, so if you have expectations for that you may be disappointed. The menu is simple and relatively cheap considering the amount of food you get. The burgers come with an additional 1/2 patty, the fries are enormous (as an FYI, the large fries is essential the size of a shoe box and contains about 3.5 of the small fries on it). The small fries fed our family of 4. The milkshakes are amazing, thick and delicious. Our children were reluctant to have the burger, but greatly enjoyed it. In hindsight we should have had one single burger split in two for them. Can't wait until the Edmonton location opens up!

It sure isnt the same.as when i was a kid. Im very disappointed in the sauce. I was also rather disappointed in the lack of flavour options not to mention they no longer use fresh fruit.

Burgers are simple and delicious. It’s big because a single burger comes with a patty and half. Onion rings, fries and gravy delicious! Great stop for a rest on our way back to yyc from yeg.

The milkshake is amazing! You can choose up to three flavours - strawberry and coconut was the perfect choice for me. I also ordered a simple burger, which comes with 2 pads. Really yummy as well. As for the environment, really open and clean. It was a good experience!

Walked in to get a milkshake. Licorice is my favorite, and not many places offer it. It's was so thick and tasty! Enjoyed their hot dog and fries.

Best milkshakes, best sliders. Fast good service. 45,000 flavour combos- pick 3 from a list of like 30. My go-to is Chocolate/Cherry/Marshmallow. If you order fries , make sure you're hungry the portions are awesome but absurd.
