Walmart Supercentre

PICKUP
First time using Pickup tonight as I had an online order come in (was only available online).
- I got an email with a single click to get me started on my pickup. Easy and quick.
- the website then asked me which number Pickup Stall I was at.
I ended up being at the front of the building next to a sign that said 2, (but the Pickup stalls are actually around the side of the building).
I get a call from Walmart and the girl told me I was in the wrong area (Pickup around side).
She stays on the phone with me while I get around to the stalls and then says she'll be out shortly with my order.
Within' 3 minutes, my order was in my car and I was on my way.

Excellent experience and excellent customer service.

Cleaner walmart compared to the other store. Talked to a store manager named Janice who was very helpful in resolving some issue I encountered. They need to hire managers like her who knows what she's doing to help customer complains. I'm shocked walmart still have a manager that cares to their customer considering they pay their employees less than what they should be paying them.

Love the new renovation this Walmart is currently going through it's much larger and more organized. The checkout lanes are better and overall the place seems so much larger in the same shell. Products are sufficient and stocked well for on sale items. Staff are welcoming to ask questions and located products for you if not tell you the aisle it's in. Been coming here for years and can't wait to see the finished product with the renovations. This review was done in Aug 2018.

Update: tried their 4 meat pizza by Great Value it's amazing

Clean and convenient location. Very friendly staff - from the greeters to the self-checkout assistants.

Huge variety of groceries, deli items, and hard- goods.

I give 5 stars only and only due to Vincent(Assistant manager), Walmart feel proud over Vincent. I want to say my bad experience in Walmart I do not want to give his name but if you have a Vincent like employee then your reviews become good, He knows every customer is not telling lie my personal request please upgrade him in position.

I just wanted to shout out Laurie and Fran at the customer service desk. Thank you both so much for your attentive customer service skills. They're both incredibly friendly, patient, and exceptional at what they do. Efficient assistance and a very compassionate experience. Thank you for being both professional and empathetic to our situation.

This review is for the pharmacy. These people are the Best! This is the most friendly and helpful pharmacy I've ever been to. Always take the time, whether on the phone or in person to help me without question. Got my shots here and it was the easiest thing ever. Great pharmacy crew!!

I had lost my phone in this location and had seen someone who had looked like she was walking in the back, I had asked her if she works there to which she did, I had asked her if she could help me find my phone and she immediately was ready to help. She called my phone numerous times and looked around the area with me. She let her other coworkers know as aswell as a manager. She also allowed me to log on to “find my iPhone” on her phone to track it down. Eventually we found it at the service desk. Luckily another worker saw the phone and took it back. I asked for the workers name who helped me and it was (Sha-Ka) not sure which department she worked in but definitely a god sent. Thank you for helping me even though you were supposed to be on your break! Employee of the month right there👍🏼

I just wanted to reach out on here today and say thank you to brook in the wireless Centre you not only made my day but my moms. Today you really restored my moms faith in humanity. Not only were you so kinda to explain everything to us in a way we would understand, you were kind in every other way as well! Brook don’t ever stop being the kind and beautiful person you are, thank you again.

Walmart offers great prices, a vast selection, and remains a top choice for shoppers.

What started out as a not too great an experience was turned around by the very helpful Managers, Nancy and Terry at the Order Pick up station at the west side of the Walmart Super-Centre on the South side, Red Deer. A lovely table and chairs dining set was ordered. One item received, no idea where the rest was. A very professional Manager in that area located the rest of our order. Thank you.
Secondly, when the boxes were taken apart, there was a lot of damage to the dining set in shipping. One phone call to the Pick Up Centre and the refund process was initiated by Nancy.
Both these women are a great example of the friendly and professionalism that is so lacking in many places today. Thank you both for your time and for making all this as pleasant an experience as you could. It restores my faith in people as these are such crazy times. Many thanks and I hope Walmart realizes what gems they have in you both. Merry Christmas.

Usually busy, however still easy to navigate. Also good deals , like Walmart has.

Visited the electronic department and was helped within seconds. We found what we needed and headed for self check-out. The attendant cleaned the till area before we stepped up to it and she smiled and was very friendly. We purchased a warranty and she quickly retrieved the pamphlet we needed. All in all it was a great experience.

I actually avoid Walmart. However, this is the only place I feel safe shopping in now and will only shop at Walmart for now on. I applaud Walmart for making masks mandatory as I have 2 family members undergoing chemo. Line was quick. My cashier was friendly and greeted me to get me through her line quickly. All with a great attitude. Thank you!! Gained a new customer.

The guy working electronics today (May 2nd around 5pm-6pm) was superb. I went to buy a cellphone (first time) and he made it so easy while being very kind. I was nervous and unsure, yet he made it seem like a walk in the park! Thank you very much electronics guy, I wish I caught your name to thank you properly!

Best Walmart I have been in. Got our "Oh, we forgot..." last minute camping stuff realized halfway through checkout we didn't get ice. Kehinde ran and brought some to us.

I shop here often. At the end of January I had a medical emergency inside the store. The staff were extremely helpful while waiting for the paramedics and helped my daughter cash out the items I was buying. They also called me the next day to check up on me which I found to be thoughtful.

This is my regular Walmart. It's starting to look so much better now that the renovations are well underway. I love the Clearance Department. Some folks that are used to the old lay-out may have difficulty finding the items that they typically shop for but once they know where those items are, they will realize that the store has a much more open quality. Ample parking and the Community bus parks right there for the ease of transit riders.

Quick trip to the city to pick up a few things with my friend. Easy to grab a roast chicken and some delicious samosas for supper. You just can't beat the price on their ready to eat hot roast chicken.
