Superstore every one already knows low prices excellent staff great parking bug to me its the only grocery store for mencause it just makes sense as what should be beside another . Like properly stocked. Any ways point card is great liquor and gas bar too. Always use and nappy too.

Wanted to let you know that I had a very nice experience with the cashier Joanne today, she was at till #2 around 1pm. I used the remainder of a PC gift card for the bulk of my purchase, having only 77 cents left owing. In my frantic last minute attempt at shopping I had neglected to transfer money into my account and was overdrawn. As I started to reach for my phone to transfer money, Joanne without hesitation used her own card to pay my remaining balance and not hold up the people behind me. And she did it with a smile! Thank you again Joanne! You’re amazing!

Although prices have gone up I found a few good sales. Pleasant staff & got almost everything I went in for. Clean & organized store. Thankyou. I will return but your points system is loosing ground - too confusing. Merry 🎄 Christmas.

There is an employee that gathers carts in the parking lot here in Red Deer that not only does the labour well, he also gives the customers a feel of cheer and friendliness before we go into the store. I wish I caught his name. The message I want to say is he gives a positive push to others that might be too focused on problems to notice a friend. Thank you, who ever you are. I do remember he had on a neck fan.

First time here as we recently moved to Alberta!! Tyler, in the seasonal dept warehouse area was super helpful in helping us get our patio furniture that we wanted as well as helping us load it up!! We had to use part of the display and because of that, they gave us an extra discount on top of the great price we received! Thanks again Tyler. We really appreciated all of your help, determination and commitment to making sure we were satisfied. We will return soon. Thanks again Vicki & Mike L

Store was well stoked, clean and had knowledgeable staff. Produce was fresh.

Today I had an unfortunate fall exiting superstore, rolled my ankle . Unfortunately all my groceries fell on the ground and some jars etc were broken. Luckily Michael , one of the managers and some staff immediately came to my aid , to make sure I was ok. To my surprise after ensuring I was ok , Michael went back in the store and replaced all my groceries at no cost to me! This act of kindness does not go unnoticed and was so appreciated ! Thank you Michael , staff and two other Good Samaritans who helped me!!

Three words: variety, prices, service. Whatever grocery item you're searching for, 98% sure they'll have it, at the best price, and sell it to you with courtesy.
You'll only have one stop to make, it's nice not having to go to multiple stores for items.
Excellent variety on food selection. Ethic aisle is my go to when cooking international dishes, over the moon excited to see they carry Pork Floss (dried shredded pork - used as a garnish), fabulous selection of fresh produce (love the variety of fresh herbs & mushrooms), bakery has excellent choices of artisinal bread, snack aisle is HUGE with the biggest selection of chips & salty munchies, seafood (i ❤ salmon)...

That's just covering the huge variety this store carries of everything, the prices are the BEST, and every clerk I've had help me find a specialty Christmas flyer item to, the checkout line with my groceries have all been friendly to talk to and fun.

And...you guys they accept PC optimum.. you won't find a better all around value when it comes to groceries.

Nice and cool inside. The employees were quite pleasant. I didn't notice any gaps on the shelves that would indicate lack of product. Everything looked fresh. When I was there I found that there were no lineups at the tills. My shopping experience was positive.

This is my favourite place to shop due to their ample product selection and reasonable pricing. In addition, their PC brand makes such good products that we find them to taste better than the pricier name brand versions 9.5 times out of 10. Their pc optimum points program is one of the best out there for actually accruing usable and useful rewards points (you can use them like cash on superstore purchases easily).

As someone who used to always view no frills as a go to grocery store in southern Ontario I had no idea what to do when I moved here. I only tried the wal mart near Lena prior to this but can say that this is my go to place now.

They also accept optimum points, much of the produce was cheap compared to the wal mart I went to. Caveat, fruits are much pricier in Red Deer than in Southern Ontario. They are FOOD First so you have many options for your groceries, they also sell house ware, kitchen ware, and more to help you settle into your new residence. Though note that some items might not be as good in quality.

Would definitely recommend especially if you moved to red deer empty handed!

Edit: In the last few months it has become clear that this store is aggressively increasing prices of the same products I always purchase. It's not just one product, it's all of the ones I buy. Although in the last few months the optimum points offers have again started giving points for stuff I already purchase regularly (as it used to at the beginning), it is less offers than before. They do have decent offers for bigger families, though.

This review is less for the store and more for an employee by the name of Christian. He was absolutely swamped last night at customer service with flashfood customers, returns, phone calls and a ton of other requests. He handled it all with a smile on his face and fantastic customer service. Things didn't work out with my flashfood order as there was items missing and he took the time to make sure I figured out the refund on the app and then went right back to the line up (other staff member sitting there watching it all and was fairly rude to the other customers) I have been doing customer service for 15 years now and Christian exemplified every quality we should have when dealing with the public every day. Great job. Give the man a raise!

Good price on groceries. However, fresco has cheaper stuff so go there if you want even cheaper veggies

Our experience at Superstore has always been very nice. I got my vaccines there.. It's a one-stop shop. Produce is fresh and well presented.. Staff are professional, and cheerful, and helpful. Parking is easy.. and the carts all work
