Although being a major chain location, this particular location managed by the most fabulous lady by the name of Kathleen. Will satisfy the most demanding of pet Owners. Their Selection and product quality is second to none but it is the quality of the customer service that makes them. 100 steps ahead of anybody else in the Industry. I worked 25 years in the pet industry. And I would have been proud to be part of this stores team.

Seems to always have what I need, when I need it. Super nice, and helpfull staff seem to be around whenever you need them to be. All around pleasant experience.

Our son had an amazing birthday party at petland! The staff were so wonderful and he and his friends had so much fun!

The Petland and CAOS Adoption services have the most amazing staff! Thank you everyone for making the adoption of our little Freddy this past weekend. We will likely adopt any future dogs from CAOS. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly and because of the location of the adoption services, the dogs are well socialized and they were all super friendly. CAOS knows their dogs! They spend a lot of time with their animals and even start training them while the dogs are in their care.

The adoption fees may seem a bit high, but don't let that scare you! We got so much free stuff and left with toys, some free food, discounts on the first vet visit, and a coupon to use in store on things we knew we needed.

Freddy is such a good dog. We feel like the luckiest people to have adopted this sweet little guy and brought him home. ❤

I have been shopping at Petland here in Red Deer for quite some time now. Getting supplies for my birds is a regular errand that keeps a old guy like me busy.

But I thought it was about time I do one of these google reviews. A very nice young lady, Chloe is her name, who is the manager of the small animal department has helped the past three times I’ve come in.
Each time she has cheerily greeted me and helped me find what I need. She also always has tips on how to improve my bird cage. So helpful for a slow old learner like me.

I will keep shopping here as long as I can. Hopefully Chloe will continue working here and running a ship shape bird department. She’s a very valuable and knowledgeable employee. Thanks Chloe.

Dakota's passion for reptiles, tarantulas, etc. and proper pet care is unmatched. His detailed knowledge, patience, and care are incredibly helpful. If you are ever looking to add a critter to your home, Dakota is highly recommended!

Just had one of the best buying experiences of all time! Silvanawas informed and walked me through everything I needed to know about getting my tank started! She was patient and knowledgeable. I will be back just because of her!

Staff are always friendly and helpful they have a good selection of products for a good price! It's also always fun to see the animals, I can tell that the animal care itself has improved over the last few years.

Beautiful animals all over the place and lots of staff that are more than eager to help anyone who needs it. There was one till open and suddenly there were four people in line so they opened a second till immediately.

Amazing!! The lady was very helpful that last day I was there. I bought a toy for my dog and she was really helpful. The payment was nice and the store was clean.

Knowledgeable on the pets they sell, which has been a relief compared to other pet stores, fish section had healthy fish and plants. Good selection prices are high but it is worth the price with the quality.
