Al Iman Islamic Centre

The experiences I've had at Al-Iman Islamic Centre have always been positive. Events are beautiful, well organized and thoughtful. Everyone who works and volunteers their time at AIIC provide a much needed service to all members of the surrounding community. I especially recognize and appreciate the hard work of the many women and youth who maintain the centre with dedication and love.

Al Iman Islamic center is a powerful symbol of community, faith, and compassion, this place is not just a place of worship, it is a center of activity and support for all members of the community. It is run by the Somali community (I'm not Somali) where you can feel the warmth and love that emanates from its walls. It is a place where people come together to share their joys, sorrows, and experiences with each other. The center serves as a source of guidance and inspiration, helping individuals to connect with their faith and spirituality in a meaningful way. May Allah help the volunteers running it and provide them with the energy, strength and time to keep it going. Thank you!

Ahlu sunnah wal jama'h masjid.
Very friendly and hospitable brothers.
They have almost daily activities.

They even have sunnah fasting and iftar on some Mondays or Thursdays.

Nice and silent location. Plenty of parking space available.

me and my husband love going here. they have many activities and a welcoming community. came here as a revert not know anyone and they immediately made me feel welcomed and made me love the masjid. they have many classes going on as well to attend as a new muslim wanting to learn more about the deen or a born muslim wanting to strengthen their knowledge. love the friday halaqas for sisters and is how i actually started to love this masjid. i always feel at home coming here.

Awesome kid friendly Imam with a passion to teach the rightful meaning of Islamic values.

We visit this masjid everyday with our kids in Surrey, and I must say it was an absolutely amazing experience. From the moment we step inside.

The first thing is the pristine cleanliness of the premises. The floors were spotless, and the air carried a refreshing fragrance. It's evident that the management takes great care in ensuring a hygienic and pleasant environment for worshippers.

The spaciousness of this masjid is truly commendable. The small prayer hall provides ample room for 5 rows of congregants to pray comfortably, without feeling crowded. This allows for a peaceful and serene atmosphere, perfect for reflection and devotion. On Friday, the gymnasium is laid down with removable soft rugs.

Though its in a warehouse, the architectural beauty of the mosque is awe-inspiring. The intricate simple design and craftsmanship displayed add a touch of grandeur to the overall ambience.

Furthermore, the facilities provided by the mosque are excellent. The ablution area is well-maintained, with clean and sufficient water supply. The ample strata parking space also makes it convenient for visitors, ensuring a hassle-free experience as the management has very good terms with the neighbors.

The warm and welcoming nature of the staff and volunteers at Al-Iman is truly heartening. They were always ready to assist and guide visitors, creating a sense of belonging and community specially during Iftar and Taraweeh in Ramadan.

In conclusion, Al-Iman Islamic Center in Surrey is an outstanding place of worship. Its well-maintained along with a grand basketball gymnasium, makes it a truly awe-inspiring destination. I highly recommend visiting this masjid to anyone seeking a peaceful and enriching spiritual experience in-sha-Allah.

Clean and beautifully kept. Prayed jumah here, the orator gave excellent practical advice. Need more such centres in Vancouver. May Allah reward those who built it and running it.

I cannot even tell you how much I love this center. The community is so welcoming and friendly mashaAllah. I never feel out if place and everyone helps each other out. The recent renovations have added more function to the centre. Theres proper wudu areas in both the men’s and women’s areas, TV’s mounted everywhere, an updated kitchen and The multipurpose room is so spacious; my the kids love playing basketball in it.

Quran and Sunnah, the only way.

This mosque is great. The community is very hospitable and friendly, with lots of youth programs. An overall amazing place. You'll make a lot of memories here.

Well managed by excellent team. Many so much needed youth programs. Good Sunnah practice. Imams are simply amazing especially imam Othman with his distinctive beautiful tarteel. Jumuas khutbas are the best I experienced ever since I came to Canada in 1993. Jazakoum LLAAHU khairal-Jazaa.

Wonderful Adminstration and helpful youth, comfortable inside, air conditioning, and following the right guidance of the prophet Muhammad (SAW) humble brothers and sisters
