What a awesome place! The gardens are super beautiful, the food is delicious and the service is great. The place is fantastic to learn about Danish culture and Vikings. We definitely will be back.

Gotta love Vikings! This place was a blast and fun for our whole family. If you are able, I would highly recommend their Viking Feast in August.

A hidden gem for photos, food and entertainment! The Danish culture inspires the menu and the history is elevated through the passion of their volunteers and staff. Whoever said museums are stuffy clearly hasn't visited the Danish Canadian Museum!

Wonderful visit, had a great lunch with my sister.
I’ve been there twice this summer, and both times it was Billy Jean who served us. She was awesome - made our delicious lunch even better with her kind and bubbly personality, great service. 🇩🇰

Friendly and knowledgeable staff are more than happy to offer guidance on everything from the gardens to the stunning Nordic cuisine. Vegan and gluten free adaptations are available to the menu. The garden is beautiful and the sights to see are spectacular. The viking reenactment day in August is a must see.

It was nice. Admission by donation. Some well preserved historical buildings and a lot of good replica buildings too. Give yourself a good 1-2 hours, there is a lot to see.

A beautiful place with very nice personal. We came the day before season opening and was welcomed in with open arms.
Very good Danish food. A place to go if you want to experience the true meaning of Hygge.
Can't wait to go back.

Nice self guided walk. Interesting facts. Very well maintained buildings. Nice little gift shop. A little place to eat as well, but we have food allergies so we didn't give it a try.

Peaceful setting with fantastic food! Danish classics like open-faced sandwiches, dumpling and meatball soup as well as apple cake and aebelskiver (spherical pancakes). Will definitely return.

A pleasant hidden gem with well-kept grounds, multiple exhibits and an excellent restaurant with Nordic cuisine. A nice little gift shop with Nordic jewelry, books (educational, cook books), trinkets and museum souvenirs too.

We visited 26 Jun 14 -- spent most of the day there and enjoyed every minute. The staff, especially curator Faye, was very helpful in answering our many questions about the early Dickson settlers. Delicious Danish food in the cafe -- it took me back to dining with my Bedstemor and Bedstefar in my long-ago youth!

A hidden gem nestled in the small community of Dickson Alberta. Many things to explore in a beautiful setting. Make sure to visit the garden, nature walk, interpretive tour of the hospital buildings and of course the restaurant and gift shop.
